Responsibilities:

Position 1: Construction Planning Engineer – based in Vietnam
· Monitor and control fabrication site activities.
· Support Project Management in developing site-planning activities.
· Monitor contractor compliance to project requirements for scheduling and
reporting.
· Prepare internal fabrication / construction progress report (weekly, monthly,
quarterly or as required)

Position 2: Senior Contracts Engineer / Manager – based in Kuala Lumpur
· Administer and ensure contracts are executed as per terms.
· Oversee preparation of tenders, evaluation of bids & award of contracts.
· Control claims and variations. Closeout contracts.

Position 3: Senior Cost Manager – based in Kuala Lumpur
· Ensure project activities are completed within budget.
· Responsible for AFE’s, monthly project cost reporting, basically all the costs side
of the business (mainly on the fabrication / construction side)

Position 4: Head of Cost and Contracts – based in Kuala Lumpur
· Manage and coordinate all HUC contracts and cost control such that there is an
integrated system in place in which can transparently administer the work and
provide Senior Project Management with accurate status and forecast reporting.
· Must have HUC experience.

Position 5: Planning Engineer – based in Kuala Lumpur
· Provide planning support to Project Management.
· Monitor contractor compliance to project requirements for scheduling and
reporting.
· Prepare internal progress report (weekly, monthly, quarterly or as required).

Requirements:
· Degree Qualified
· At least 20 years related experience for positions 1,3,4 & 5 and at least 10
years related experience for position 2.
· Must have supervisory experience.
· Malaysian or SE Asian preferred for positions 1 & 2.
· Expatriates preferred for positions 3,4 & 5.
· Strong interpersonal skills and fluent in both written and verbal English
communication skills.

Responsibilities:
Senior Process Engineers provide process and systems engineering input to studies/projects covering the entire project life cycle from field development study, through design, to operational support and troubleshooting.

Individual calculation effort, preparation of Basis of Design documents (BOD’s) front-end studies, process engineering input to detailed design and start-up / operational support;
Ensure through direction and guidance of personnel that the engineering work is progressed efficiently, to maintain schedule without compromising on quality.

Duties may include:
Provide input to operational support and troubleshooting activities to clients;
Prepare project deliverables as required, including Basis of Design documents, PFDs/P&IDs, datasheets, Cause & Effect diagrams etc;
Process calculations including equipment sizing and specification;
Process simulation and flow assurance tools including HYSYS, PIPESIM, OLGA and FlareNet;
Carry out process simulations and optimization studies for selected projects and prepare Process Flow Schemes with mass balances and equipment sizes;
Review any process design work carried out by third parties (detailed design contractors, vendors), and to participate in HAZOPs as required;
Contribute, as required, to bids, proposals, client presentations and marketing activity.

The role is varied, requiring flexibility, both in the type of assigned work tasks, and location, as short assignments offshore or to overseas locations are anticipated. There is potential for long term assignments to other Pöyry locations in the oil and gas, or other business areas, in the future, dependant upon candidate’s career aspirations.

Responsibilities:

The Oil and Gas Logistics, Crude Oil and Product Quality Group, is one of 3 groups in a cluster that provides services to Supply/Distribution and at their interfaces with Manufacturing. GS10: Technologist - Thermal Conversion

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Requirements:

Substantial experience in either a refinery or an engineering contractor/process engineering environment;
Able to use ProII or other process modelling/simulations tools extensively;
You will have relevant exposure in Thermal Conversion and other conversion technologies, eg. Delayed Coking, Visbreaking;
Possess a pro-active and innovative attitude to attracting new business, be an excellent (virtual) team player and have a well-developed approach to service;
Fluent in written and spoken English, you’ll be able to work independently and take ownership of your work;
Design and project experience would be an advantage, and you should be prepared to undertake a certain amount of international travel;


Responsibilities:
As a Thermal Conversion technologist, you’ll perform the following vital tasks:

Provide technical advice on the optimal operation of thermal conversion facilities, through monitoring, modelling and evaluation of plant performance;
Execute process studies in support of projects in Shell, JV and non-Shell refineries as well as for licensing bids;
Participate in margin improvement and energy reduction activities, technical audits and safety audits;
Make process designs for revamps and new units;
Give technical support in later project stages and start-ups;
Support acquisition activities in Refining, Chemicals and Upstream;
Participate in the development and maintenance of in-house tools and documentation, and do gatekeeping on competitors’ developments;
Adhere to quality standards.

Good knowledge and experience with latest hydrographic survey systems, software and applications, including DGPS, acoustic positioning systems, swathe bathymetry and GIS;
Thorough understanding of hydrographic and geodetic survey principles;
Competent with latest IT/IM tools and conversant with standard office applications and survey software;
Be prepared to work for short durations on survey vessels, construction barges, drilling rigs and weekends when required by the job.

Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be a member of the survey operations team in EPA’s Geomatics department based in Miri and will be responsible for the day to day planning, coordination and quality control of following activities:

Seabed and shallow hazards and obstructions surveys for rig and platform sites in shallow and deepwater locations;
Precise acoustic survey positioning for deepwater operations;
Offshore pipeline pre-lay, post-lay, and surveillance and inspection surveys;
Offshore platform/jacket and pipe lay installation operations;
2D & 3D seismic survey positioning support;
Geotechnical, geochemical and environmental sampling operations;
Demarcation and positioning services for rigs, barges & workboats by anchor handling tugs or remote positioning;
Survey data processing and the preparation of standard and customized hydrographic maps and charts with support from the department’s GIS mapping section;
Liaising with customers (marine captains, geologists, geophysicists, environmental scientists, well, structural and pipeline engineers) and the department’s contract offshore surveying resources, which include a long-term survey vessel and call out resources for site surveys and positioning operations.

Purpose :
This is a high responsibility, operational role as the leading company representative on the drilling rig or work-over unit, managing a team, planning and prioritizing activities and using your expertise to resolve any operational problems safely and efficiently. As a leadership figure, you’ll be pivotal in ensuring alignment with the company’s principles, vision, key objectives and legislative requirements.

On a day-to-day basis you’ll manage all operations associated with the well, including:
planning and scheduling,
resource allocation,

You will interface with other project hardware groups and third parties on technical interfaces and requirements, and scheduling of the work;
You will set the standards for project specifications and QA/HSE requirements for contractor’s activities on pipeline engineering;
You will be involved in the tendering and evaluation of design, procurement and installation contracts;
You will be responsible for ensuring the technical integrity of pipeline systems;
You will verify the design integrity of work carried out by Engineering contractors to ensure that the proposed solutions are technically sound and meet operability and maintainability requirements;

Responsibilities:

The position will have the responsibility on managing and establishing standards in manufacturing and fabricating off shore platforms and other similar products. The role is expected to ensure manufacturing practices and integrity of processes are not compromised. These include :

Development of Quality Process in close consultation with Team and Senior Managers surrounding the project.

Development of Inspection and Test Plans with quality surveyors and engineers

Liaising with Area Quality Manager to ensure resolution of quality issues

Develop audit schedule in conjunction with QHSE coordinator

Ensure records are well maintained for all system of product audits and ensure timely corrective action taken

Monitor fabrication operations and all associated inspection and test to ensure compliance to specifications.

Monitor Built in documentation and ensure progressive generation for approval and signed off by the client

Maintain project non –conformance log and ensure timely close out of any their reports

Review inspection requirements for project material requisitions and purchase, including invitations to tender and subcontracts

Participate in project management reviews and contracts for viability

Generate weekly reports on Quality Status for projects undertaken




We envisage the ideal candidate to no less than ten years in quality management with experience that largely coming from the oil and gas industry. He should also demonstrate the technical competency in managing fabrication operations and processes, Good communications skills and ability to work with a cross cultured nationality will be highly valued of the candidacy. Ability to relocate to Malaysia and or Indonesia will be necessary.

Technical Superintendent
(Sarawak - Miri)

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree,Professional Degree in Engineering (Marine), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent.
Class 1 Certificate of Competency
Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
Must have served in the capacity of a Chief Engineer.
At least 10 years sea going experience
Working experience as a technical superintendent or equivalent is a added advantage.

Responsibilities:
Ensure vessel meets Class, Marine and Charterer’s requirement.
To supervise technical officer, master, chief engineer, mechanics and electricians/ETO on their daily activities.
To carry out quarterly in house site inspections on every vessel and provide report to respective H.O.D.
To carry out Class Survey/Third party site inspection and provide report to respective H.O.D
To plan and execute corrective action on all the technical related findings from the site inspections and Class Surveys.
To work with Technical, HSSE, Operations and Purchasing dept on any issues arising and provide solution to avoid vessel downtime.
To work with Technical, HSSE, Operations and Purchasing dept to ensure smooth operations of dry docking task.
To work with Technical, HSSE, Operations and Purchasing dept to ensure smooth operations of Vessel mob/demob.
To review and approve within the Level of Authority (LOA) the work orders and requisition orders raise by the Chief Engineer and Master.
To review and approve within the Level of Authority (LOA) the quotations sourced by purchasing dept.
To obtain approval from Technical Manager for quotations above the LOA.
To coordinate with purchasing dept on time delivery of goods and in full.
Ensure that the work orders and requisition order are closed off properly by respective depts, contractors, mechanics, ETO and electricians.
To monitor and analyse technical documents and provide solutions to any technical issues.
To monitor the fuel consumption of their vessels and report any variations from the makers specific fuel consumption standard.
To monitor and execute the planned maintenance activities as per the PMS.
To assist the technical manager on budget preparation, control and deliver savings with the assistance of Master and Chief Engineer.
Carry out appraisal for Master and Chief Engineer before signing off from the vessel under his care and provide recommendations and feedback on the performance and suitability to Crewing Dept and Technical Mgr.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to Engineering Manager.
Working on major and minor Subsea projects and responsible for verifying compliance with applicable codes, standards and customer requirements for the specific job through to the approval of drawings, designs and specifications, also make sure the job is done within the budget and time scale.
Involved in design layout, design calculations, design reviews and design verification and comply with safety procedure.
Responsible for the supervision of allocated Technical personnel in an organized manner to ensure compliance witht he Engineering Departmental Procedures which form part of the overall Quality System Manual.
To provide the technical support to any other of the company's Subsea Department as required.


Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a degree level or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for general tasks within his/her area. The tasks will be related to the overall system design of Subsea developments and coordination between the different products groups involved in the development.
To assist the staff in the organization during tender work.

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor of Science in relevant engineering discipline.
At least 3-5 year(s) working experience in engineering with products for offshore and sub sea applications.
Applicants must be willing to work in Port Klang.
Reports to the Department Manager in the base organization / System Engineering manager in projects.
Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
