As Petroleum Engineer within the Wheatstone Project Subsurface team you will be responsible for petroleum engineering aspects of the subsurface technical environment to commercialise the Wheatstone and Iago gas resources.

Position Details:

Key skills and experience required:

* Highly qualified and experienced professional with an extensive petroleum engineering background gained from previous experience in a similar role
* Previous experience with field unitisation, joint venture partner management and major capital project subsurface technical assurance
* Strong leadership and relationship building skills with the ability to successfully engage and manage cross-functional teams
* Knowledge of petroleum engineering/production software
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Experience in managing large scale, complex drilling projects would be advantageous

The successful candidate will:

* Coordinate reservoir simulation and production forecasting
* Asess variations of the development plan specific to commercial issues and the impact to the project production facilites that may be related to future commercial opportunities
* Maintain and update gross and Chevron share estimated OGIP and resource distributions, in consultation wth the Lead Petroleum Engineer
* Prepare and collate reservoir data
* Prepare and conduct technical presentations to both internal and external stakeholders
* Coordinate a multi-disciplinary team which will include colleagues from Environment, Drilling, Facilities, Logistics, Petroleum Engineering and Earth Science teams, as well as external contract resources
* Provide petroleum engineering technical leadership and work scope
* Manage resources and associated capital and operating budgets
* Provide technical and operational leadership to colleagues, and coaching and mentoring to other team members
* Prepare technical reports and submissions related to lease retention

- Provide structural interpretation related 2D/3D seismic at attribute analysis, seismic survey design and seismic strategraphy for effective achievement of geophysical operation.

- Complete seismic interpretation of 2D and 3D seismic to final time and depth maps.
- Assist in final exploration and development well selection including completion of prospect well reports both pre and post drilling.
- Compile data and attend meetings concerning geophysical activity reporting to government.
- Assist in contract preparation and bid evaluations.
- Make technical presentations to both owner and partner company representatives.

4. GEOTECHNICAL & HYDROLOGY ENGINEER (GET-JN)

Responsible to supervise mining activities in-term of geotechnical & hydrological aspect and provide geotechnical & hydrological risk assessment.

Male, maximum 30 years old. Bachelor degree (S1) in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering. Minimum 2 years experience at similar position preferably from coal mining industries and hold POP certification. Placement at Berau.

5. MINE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER (MDV-JN)

Responsible to develop long term mine plan, provide recommendation of mine development, making technical and economical mining evaluation and provide risk analysis for long term mine plan.

Requirements:
Male, maximum 35 years old. Bachelor degree (S1) from Mining Engineering. Min 3 year experience in similar position, preferably from coal mining industries and hold POP certification. Proficient in mining software. Placement at Berau.

6. GENERAL AFFAIRS SUPERVISOR (GAS-JN)

Responsible to handle general services that include employee catering service, house keeping, company transportation, accommodation arrangement, and other company office services.

Requirements:
Maximum 35 years old. Bachelor degree (S1/ D4) in General Management or Hotel and Tourism. Minimum 3 years experience at similar position preferably from mining industries and possesses strong ability to manage site services. Placement at Berau.

7. SPEC. INVESTIGATION & LOSS CONTROL (ILC-JN)

Responsible to conduct incident investigation based on OHSAS 18001 standard, and ensure implementation of incident investigation output to prevent and control similar incident and loss in all PT Berau Coal work area.

Requirements:
Male, maximum 35 years old. Bachelor degree (S1/D4) in Mine Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety or relevant. Minimum 2 years experience at similar position preferably on mining industries. Familiar in incident investigation method and preferably hold POP certification. Placement at Berau.

8. SAFETY & HEALTH SUPERVISOR (SHS-JN)

Responsible to supervise the Safety & Health (K3) regulation and procedure implementation on mining activities in PT Berau Coal working area including operational risk controlling, incident investigation and procedure implementation evaluation.
