Requirements
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited university.
Minimum fifteen (15) years experience in the oil and gas industry with logistics, manufacturing, or distribution strategy.
Proven experience with North American and Global Logistics.
Proven experience in Supply, Manufacturing and Distribution Strategy
Demonstrated negotiation experience.


Job Description
Support the design/communication/alignment of Logistics business strategy aligned with the agreed overarching Motiva strategic priorities, developing and presenting market and competitor analyses, making recommendations/plans for market exits/entries, major investments/divestments and overall resource allocation.

While the short-term focus for the position will be to lead the PAR/Nederland are logistics master plan; the long-term scope of the position would encompass the strategy to support the LA Complex as well as PAR.


The role would include but not be limited to activities such as the following:

Advise on Integrated Regional Logistics Portfolio & creation of an integrated, profitable and sustainable Logistics strategy and strategic framework which is consistent with Motivas vision
Stakeholder engagement to ensure COB alignment as well as CEO/ELT Endorsement
Advise on allocation of capital in line with agreed business priorities across the CoB to VP SBD, ELT and other senior stakeholders
Lead cross-functional teams to perform regional logistics studies and competitor analyses as appropriate
Develop & maintain milestones to track the implementation / success of strategic actions resulting from the strategy.
Provide support as required to SBD and various strategic project development teams
Prepare management information for Senior Management in the various CoBs, as well as ELT updates
Assess changes in industry environment (e.g. domestic crude decline, changing product supply/demand patterns, product quality changes, environmental legislation changes) and ensure medium and long term strategies meet these requirements.
