JUNIOR COAL FIELD GEOLOGISTS

This is a great opportunity to join an international company in coal exploration as well as work with our team of professionals in coal mapping projects in South East Asia.

Major duties include working with the Project Manager to :
undertake coal geology mapping program
work within a team for larger areas and to lead small teams for scout mapping exercises
assist with field logistics
assist with data collation
To be eligible for this role, you have :
Degree in geology
Proficiency in spoken and written English
Excellent communications skills and analytical ability
Professional demeanor
Previous experience in coal geology of more than one year. Proven skills in outcrop mapping is preferable. However, fresh graduates with excellent GPA are encouraged to apply.



We offer an attractive remuneration package with attractive annual leave entitlement and paid trips home for the successful candidates, as well as excellent experience working with world-class team of professionals. The selected candidates will be working on one-year contract initially with a possibility to extend or be transferred to other projects.

Passport, employment visa and plane tickets will be organized; and meals as well as accommodation will be provided.



Interviews will be scheduled within the next two weeks either in Jakarta or/and a city in Kalimantan. Phone discussion and screening will be conducted over next week, prior to the interview, and the selected applicants are required to be contactable and available.


The successful applicants must be able to start work within 2 – 4 weeks.
