Such establishment data was recorded at Republic of Indonesia Hall of Record No.35, Annex No.58, dated 2nd May 1969. PT Elnusa named by 9th September 1969.
Elnusa started as a state-owned oil and gas PT Pertamina’s operations support services company. Its services include maintenance and reparation of Pertamina’s vessel shipboard electronic communications equipment, navigational equipment and radar system. Oil tankers owned by other companies working under contract with Indonesia state-owned oil and gas companies were also part of Elnusa clientele.
In 1999, due to competitive and developing business demand and opportunity, Elnusa initiated an internal consolidation in an effort to streamline its operations and business activities. As a result of this consolidation, Elnusa had twelve business units, which were led and managed by the following three divisions:

Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent.
- Able to work individually in team.
- Have a highly physical conditions for offshore job and work location
- Having Sea Survival (Basic) and Safety Training/ First Aid will be an advantages.
- 1-2 years relevant experience and drilling industry experience is preferred
- Fresh graduates/Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply.
- At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Brave and responsible as first responders for emergency situations and evacuation procedures.
- Preferably Staff (non-management & non-supervisor)s specializing in Engineering - Oil/Gas or equivalent.
- 60 Full-Time position(s) available.
Responsibilities
- Assists in assembly, disassembly and transportation of workover machinery and service equipment.
- Assists in loading and off-loading pipe and other items from the boat to the rig.
- Performs general rig maintenance: Cleaning rig floor, chipping, and painting.
- Performs general maintenance on draw works, rotary system, mud pumps, shale shakers, etc.
- Manipulates sections of pipe or drill stem during the removal or replacement of pipe strings, drill stems or drill bits.
- Assists in moving pipe from piperack to the Vee Door.
- Assists in Tripping pipe (Using slips, tongs, elevators, spinning chain, etc.) and makes connections while running drill pipe, casing, or production tubing.
- Monitors Shakers and mixes Sack chemicals.
- Nipples BOP’s up and down.
- Advance responsibilities to the Jack Operator and even Workover Supervisor.
