The candidate will be responsible for the following functions:
1. Document tender preparation
* Prepares the tender proposal, ensures its completeness, and keeps its confidentiality prior to submission.
* Verifies that contracts are compatible with the original tender documents.
* Works with other departments involved in the tender preparation process.
* Distributes contract and its amendment (if any) to all related parties.
* Maintains logs of tenders (past and on-going) and/or other related documents properly.
2. Integrating good communication between client and operation team - domestic and international
3. Obtaining rates, preparing and follow up quotation and maintaining quotation log
4. Office Management
5. Overseeing Chartering operations
6. Supervising customs clearance operations
7. Field assignment when requested

Technical Qualification:
* Excellent understanding of Freight Forwarding, Logistic, Custom Brokerage and Formalities
* Understanding of HSE terminology
* Experience with Heavy lifting, cargo loading / unloading, securing and stowing operations
* Experience with Air and Sea vessel chartering
* Good knowledge of Project, Mining, Oil & Energy industries and customers
* Willing to travel to project site locations
* Customer oriented
General Qualification:
* Hold Minimum S1 degree of any major or Marine / Transportation background is preferable
* Detail oriented and result focused
* Self Motivated, high initiative and adaptability
* English Literacy both oral and written
* Computer Literate: MS. Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
* Strong communication, personal and interpersonal

Trade Trainer Officer - Electrical
We are looking for qualified resources for the position as Tarde Trainer Officer - Electrical that will be based in Balikpapan.
This role requires recognised Trade and / or mechanical/electrical engineering Qualifications or ex Thiess Apprentices with at least 2 year field experience; certificate IV in Training; understanding of Industry practice and standard; Familiar with Heavy equipments: Dozer (Caterpillar/Komatsu), Excavator (Hitachi/Komatsu/Liebherr), Ingersoll Rand Drills, Dump Truck (Caterpillar/Komatsu); ability to work effectively with others and related to colleagues and ability to cope with additional responsibilities; computer literacy and excellent English communication skill -written and verbal.
This position is responsible to provide electrical trade and allied training for Thiess personnel in order to increase the productivity, maintenance and improve personnel's capability, including to deliver effective theoretical training in accordance with Thiess standard; to develop, review, revise and amend training packages and lesson plans; to conduct assessment activities that meet company requirements; to be involved in the planning of training activities in order to optimise the training facilities and resources; and also to review apprentice weekly reports ensuring that the training is consistent with training requirements.
