PT Sunshine is a contracting services company specializing in coal mining and plantation sectors. It is a subsidiary of a foreign group of companies. We are looking for Indonesian qualified and result-oriented professionals to fill the following positions to be based in Balikpapan.

Geologists / Mining Engineer
(Kalimantan Timur - Balikpapan)

Requirements:
Applicants must be Indonesian citizen
Diploma/Degree in Geology or related field
Preferably with Geotechnical, or open-pit operations experience. Experience in coal mining industry would be an added advantage
Computer and report writing skills are essential
Good command of verbal and written Bahasa Indonesia and English
Must be able to work independently and work within tight deadlines
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply


Responsibilities:
Supervise daily sampling of mining areas for grade control
Carry out sampling of drill/blast holes and plotting results on plans
Carry out geological mapping and sampling of the mining areas, plotting information on plans and report significant findings
Prepare and regularly update mine plans on geology, alteration and structures
Organize/supervise drilling/sampling operations at mine and exploration areas
Assist in geological modeling and evaluation of coal reserves
