Resource Geologist/Data Co-ordinator (Ref # 448969)
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Your solid experience with a resource modelling software such as Surpac, Vulcan, Datamine, Micromine together with the ability to build, review and manipulate resource models is essential. Good knowledge of GIS programs such as ArcGIS/ArcMap and the ability to query data by SQL is important. You shall understand the concepts of resources modelling, geostatistics, grade interpolation, relational databases, projections and datums. Experience in GBis, Acquire, SQL server is an advantage. Good understanding of quality assurance and quality control methods with respect to geochemical data is important together with extensive exploration industry experience.
POSITION SYNOPSIS
Reporting to the Geology Manager, you will be responsible for resource models and database compilation including: facilitate access of geoscientists and process engineers to GIS and spatial data, maintain and improve geological and spatial databases, maintaining geoscientific data in a timely and efficient way to assist with test work project planning and execution. You will work with geologists, process engineers and GIS technician to ensure all spatial data is captured, maintained and archived in a central system.
This is a Jakarta-based position.

* Ensure all programs effective in design and implementation and are effective to drilling purpose.
* Provide support in drilling/work-over marketing development.
* Identify areas where new techniques can be applied effectively.
* Provide real-time monitoring and prompt action to obtain satisfactory drilling performance.
* Evaluate all aspects of drilling performance and maintain such database and documentation.
* Reports all un-conform to the project manager according to drilling / work-over program and company QHSE policy.
