has started a new challenging project and to support our operations in Indonesia, we are seeking qualified candidates for the following position.

Senior Drilling Supervisor

Requirement:
• Minimum 15 (ten) years of continuous experience in drilling with minimum 10 (ten) full years experience in rig site supervisory.
Note: definition of full 10 years means that the candidate must able to prove that he/she has so far been working with company(s) which has continuous drilling activity. A one or two wells intermittent experience shall not be considered as full year experience.
• Must have minimum 2 (two) full years experience as geothermal drilling supervisor with last position as Senior Drilling Supervisor having previous experience in drilling geothermal big bore directional well.
• Long experience as Senior Drilling Supervisor in harsh environment Oil & Gas drilling such as HT-HP deep well, unstable hole, total lost circulation with under balance practice can be considered should such candidate has no previous geothermal experience.
• Must have previous experience in working in a reputable International Oil & Gas or Geothermal Operator Company or as Consultant Services Company. Sufficiently broad experience base to be able to exercise independent though and correct decision making is a mandatory requirement.
• Previous experience in nearby area similar to Sarulla will be prioritized.
• Good knowledge in blind drilling in total lost circulation environment, air drilling, directional drilling practices are mandatory requirements.
• Must have valid international standard of well control certificate such as IADC / IWCF / WellCap in addition to MIGAS.
• Must be proficient in English oral and written, and has basic understanding in the preparation of an international standard of daily drilling report such as DIMS / IDS / WellView, or similar.
• Supervisor with engineering background will be an added value.
• Must be self directed and capable of managing multiple tasks with strong leadership.
• Risk observant, capable to identify and quantify potential risks of any actions to be made, with strong leadership in making quick action for problem remedial.


This individual will assume a key operational role in the management of all drilling rig site related activities to ensure that effective and safe operations in compliance with Companys drilling program can be achieved. Ability to provide Company with high quality assurance and control of the works which requiring strong practical knowledge capable of making quick and firm actions in handling the operational remedial problems are the main requirements for meeting Companys qualification. Must have extensive rig sites experience on all down hole drilling practices including knowledge on all contractors equipment for its limitations, weaknesses and advantages, and must possess strong leadership and maturity in rig sites decision making. A portion of duties is to provide Company with input to improve drilling operations performance.

A Senior Drilling Supervisor consultant is a highly competent professional with strong experience to be the lead representative of the Company in charge for the whole rig site operations, and organization wise is to be positioned equal to level 13 in Companys structure reporting directly to Drilling Operations Manager.
