Material Control Specialist (Surabaya based, 3rd party contract)
Responsibilities
- Under broad direction, coordinates materials demand planning, requirements, and procurement activities to provide seamless integration of procurement and operations processes.
- Liaises with Product Service Line (PSL) and Business Development (BD) staff, manufacturing personnel, internal and external suppliers, and logistics personnel to ensure materials are delivered to end-users in accordance with requirements.
- Assists in the preparation, accumulation and maintenance of materials control files, such as requisitions, purchase orders and logistical documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor Degree in business administration, materials management, industrial distribution or similar disciplines.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in materials management which include experience in procurement and/org logistics. Technically able to identify the equipments, maintain recrods, follow up on in and out of equipment in base as well as locations.
- SAP experience is preferred.
- Good computer skills.
- Good command of oral and written English.
- Strong interpersonal skills and organizational experience.
