Wireline Repair and Maintenance Engineer - Rotator

ABOUT THIS JOB
Baker Hughes is now offering the opportunity as a Repair and Maintenance Engineer – Rotator in Huizhou.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

Fully proficient and qualified to perform preventative maintenance, repairs and post failure analysis on any and all Baker Hughes Wireline equipment.
Must be familiar with Baker Hughes Wireline processes for repair and maintenance.
Able to train and mentor new hire employees.
Testing, maintenance, and repair of various electronic Wireline Tools.
Completes all required documentation on failure analysis and required repairs.
Troubleshoots tests and assembles electromechanical assemblies.
Assists in reworking, repairing and modifying nonconforming equipment.
Provides technical support to other groups and co-workers.
Ability to coach other technicians.
Assists in configuring, preparing, maintaining, utilizing and/or designing test stations and test equipment.
Performs tests with instructions and documentation.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 3 to 5 years of Wireline maintenance experience
Degree in Engineering, preferably Electronics
Able to work in Huizhou permanently
Able to communicate in both English and Chinese professionally


Wireline Field Engineer - Rotator

ABOUT THIS JOB

Baker Hughes Incorporated (BHI) offers the opportunity as an experienced Wireline Field Engineer - Rotator to join the team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

Expert level on Baker Hughes Wireline services such as RCI / MREX / Star, Rotary coring experience a plus.
Needs to be familiar with or able to work on land or offshore operations and familiar with Baker Hughes Wireline processes and procedures for job planning, records, execution and follow up.
Able to train and mentor new employees and lead a crew of 3-5 people.
Under general supervision receives established instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on well site activity. Work is reviewed for accuracy and overall adequacy.
To perform pre job checks and acquire open hole log data, post job maintenance and prepare final customer deliverables.
Provides record of such equipment and other routine assemblies as run to the Customer Representative at the well site.
May advise the Customer Representative in basic open hole log interpretation.
Drives Company vehicles in a safe manner, observing all Company and government regulations and arrives at wellsite or other designated destination at scheduled time.
Carries out all required responsibilities safely and as described in Managing Base Operations, Managing Well Operations, and Managing Equipment and Logistics manuals.
Performs other related duties as required. Conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.


EESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Degree in Geophysics/Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil Engineering is a must.
Industry experience and product line specific training required.
5 – 8 years of Open Hole Logging Wireline field experience preferred experience.
Fluency, both written and oral, in English and Chinese languages is required.
Ability to travel to Baker Hughes training facilities abroad for technical training. Course durations vary from 1 week to 8 weeks. All technical training is conducted in English.


OTHER DETAILS

Good Functional / Technical, Customer Focus, Communication, Interpersonal, and Team working Skills.
Previous experience with ECLIPS 5700 surface and downhole tools preferred.
Employees who travel to international locations to perform work assignments on a fixed rotational schedule.
