Our Client has an immediate requirement for:
Operations Engineer - Drilling Workover
Principal Accountabilities
Design and programme wells to achieve the objectives specified in the well prognosis or workover proposal.
Arrange for required drilling services such as cementing, logging, coring, casing and liner services, mud engineering and ensure all contractors are up-to-date on the progress of the drilling operations and when their services are required.
Request, reviews and analyzes lab results of mud chemical and cement slurry designs prior to providing for use in the well.
Provide rig site engineering support for special operations such as casing cementation, remedial cementation, well killing, well control and lost circulation situations.
Prepare the final well drilling, workover and completion reports
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
BSc. (3-4 year) Engineering Degree from an accredited University. (Petroleum Engineering preferred)
IWCF certification (Supervisor Level).
At least 6 years drilling engineering experience with an Operating Company (including 2 years of well site operations).
Skill in well design, tubular design, completions, wellbore construction, drilling fluids, well control, and a good understanding of geology.
Fully conversant with and ability to use drilling engineering software such as: Compass; Well Plan; Stress Check and Casing Seat or similar commercially available programmes.

Senior Reservoir Engineer (Surveillance)
Job description
Undertake reservoir engineering studies of the oilfields to optimize field development plans. Analyze reservoir and well performance data and develop reservoir surveillance programs. Conduct reservoir management activities. Participate in interdisciplinary reservoir study teams. Prepare detailed/integrated development plans for underdeveloped hydrocarbon resources. Develop and mentor less experienced staff
Requirements
Required experience and expertise
Prefer 15+ years experience in reservoir engineering activities emphasizing large carbonate reservoirs
Significant experience working on mature oil fields under water flood
strong experience in supporting well planning / prognosis activities
Strong background in reservoir surveillance and optimisation
Experience in reservoir fluid sampling, fluid property modelling, routine and special core analysis.
Strong background in well test interpretation, material balance modelling and performance modelling of vertical and horizontal wells
Experience in numerical reservoir simulation in using Eclipse100
Experience in reserves evaluation, classification, and booking
Must have strong teamwork skills, and it would be an advantage to have experience working in a multicultural environment
Must be able to communicate effectively with peers, less experienced staff, field staff, and management
Must have experience mentoring less experienced engineers
Must have experience/knowledge of current computer software for reservoir engineering applications
Minimum of a BSc in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering is required
Desirable experience and expertise
Experience in numerical reservoir simulation in using of Eclipse 300, history matching and field development.
Experience in EOR techniques such as miscible/ immiscible and CO2 injection
Desirable to have experience in applying reservoir knowledge and skills to assess field compartmentalization issues and problems.
Desirable to working knowledge of gas condensate reservoir as well as gas field development experience.
Desirable to have knowledge of geostatistics, integrated reservoir characterization, fault and fracture studies as well as risk assessment/management.
Desirable to have experience in static reservoir modelling and description
Standard reservoir engineering software
Simulation – Eclipse 100 and 300 in particular and other software related to the Eclipse suite of programmes
Petrel RE
Fluid property modelling - PVTi , PVTSim
Material balance - MBAL
Well test interpretation - Saphir
