AEL Mining Services is a leading developer, producer and supplier of commercial explosives, initiating systems and blasting services for mining, quarrying and construction markets in Africa and Indonesia.

AEL is currently undergoing an exciting phase of growth. To support this continued growth, we are currently looking to recruit following positions:

1. DOCUMENT CONTROLLER (CODE: ADM-DC) – to be based in Jakarta

Requirements:
- Matric with at least 3 years experience in an organization that includes Operations, SHE and ISO 14001 and 9000 systems management. Incumbent needs to work closely with Training, Operations and Engineering Managers, and with customers (at all levels) to promote benefits of World Class.
- Must have strong organizational abilities, communication skills (verbal and written), tenacity, sets priorities, ability to work independently, organizational skills, and flexibility.
- Must know company policies and procedures in depth.
- In-depth knowledge of computer software including Lotus Notes (World Class and CRM), CCAS, Purchase Orders on SAP.
- In-depth knowledge of World Class Systems database.
- Administration of the CRM system.
- Full administration of World Class Document Control System.


2. SUPPLY CHAIN SPECIALIST (CODE: SC - SPC) – to be based in Jakarta

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Engineering with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in forecasting and demand analysis, purchasing and material control, inventory planning and control and contract management.
- Preferably have knowledge in shipping and logistic
- Comprehensive understanding in Indonesian tax regulation and have ability in tax calculation & report, temporary import policy and policy for import used equipment, and temporary export policy
- Have at least 2 years of Oracle, SAP and/or comparable software experience
- Experience in Explosive Industry is an advantage but not requirement.
- Computer literate, intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
- Have excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, managerial and organizational skills
- English spoken & written is preferable
- Proactive, tenacity, able to work under pressure, good leadership


3. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (CODE: ENG-ELT) – to be based in Balikpapan

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering discipline or related field is highly desirable; but a combination of great experience and demonstrated skill associated with industrial installations plus educational accomplishments will be considered in lieu of bachelor’s degree
- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience with various Electrical systems as related to design, field start up and commissioning ( COC’s ).
- Installations plus educational accomplishments will be considered in lieu of bachelor’s degree.
- Knowledge of local compliance requirements.
- Thorough knowledge and demonstrated experience with electrical calculations and applications a must.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills and experience applying technology through teamwork.
- Good communication skills, in English and Bahasa Indonesia, as the incumbent is required to communicate to management level.

4. AREA MANAGER (CODE: MGR - AM) – to be based at site

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Field/Engineering. Mining engineer is an advantage.
- At least 10 years of similar industry experience.
- Hold POM certification. POU preferred.
- Technical blasting knowledge.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and chemical understanding.
- Financial orientation.
- Good communication skills, in English and Bahasa Indonesia, as the incumbent is required to communicate to management level.
- Computer literacy.
- Learning, serving & leading personal that can be a lead by example in the organization.
- Task & personal oriented.
- Driving license A.

5. SITE MANAGER – OPEN PIT AND UNDERGROUND (CODE: MGR - SM) – to be based at site

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Field/Engineering. Mining engineer is an advantage.
- At least 8 years of similar industry experience.
- Hold valid POP to obtain POM certification.
- Hold blaster competency (KJL)
- Technical blasting knowledge.
- Good communication skills, in English and Bahasa Indonesia, as the incumbent is required to communicate to management level.
- Computer literacy.
- Driving license A.

6. FIELD/SITE SUPERINTENDENT – OPEN PIT AND UNDERGROUND (CODE: FLD – SPI)– to be based at site

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering, sufficiently mature with a minimum of 6 years experience
- A General Driving License.
- Letter of No Criminal Record from Police (Valid SKCK).
- Able to proficiently speak and write in English
- Good communication skills, in English and Bahasa Indonesia, as the incumbent is required to communicate to management level.
- Technical knowledge.
- Computer literacy.
- Hold blaster competency & able to obtain KIM.
- Hold Defensive Driving Certificate
- Hold valid POP to obtain POM certification.
- A Drivers license, B Driving License would be an advantage

7. FIELD SUPERVISOR – OPEN PIT AND UNDERGROUND (CODE: FLD-SPV) – to be based at site

Requirements:
- Senior High School, with minimum 5 years experience or Diploma 3 degree with minimum 3 years experience or Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 1 year experience.
- Certificate of Blasting Competency Holder (KJL 2).
- Operational Supervisory Level 1 Certificate (POP).
- Computer Literate.
- Hold a Driving License, B2 Driving License is preferred.
- Hold Defensive Driving Certificate.
- Able to communicate English (Written and spoken).

8. TECHNICAL SERVICE ENGINEER – OPEN PIT AND UNDERGROUND (CODE: TS – ENG) – to be based at site

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering
- At least 2 years’ experience as Blasting Engineer
- Good communication skills, in English and Bahasa Indonesia, as the incumbent is required to communicate with clients.
- Technical knowledge.
- Computer literacy.
- Hold blaster competency (KJL II)
- Hold POP will be an advantage
- Hold a Driver’s license; heavy vehicle would be an advantage.
- The incumbent will be required to travel.

9. SHEQ SUPERVISOR (CODE: SHE-SPV) – to be based at site

Requirements:
- D3 SHEQ, minimum 3 years experience or Bachelor’s Degree majoring in engineering or public health with 2 years related experience.
- Driving License.
- Able to speak and written in English.
- Good communication skills, in English and Bahasa Indonesia, as the incumbent is required to communicate to management level.
- Technical knowledge.
- Computer literacy.
- Able to obtain POP certification.
- Hold Occupational Health and Safety professional certificate (AK3 Umum).

10. PURCHASING ADMIN (CODE: SC-PCA) – to be based at site (Sangatta)

Requirements:
- S1 Degree or Diploma 3 with minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role
- Minimum 24 years old
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- English speaking is advantage
- Acknowledge of SAP System is an advantage
- Having good filing system and documentation, accuracy, tenacity and attentive to detail
