Geotechnical Technologist (U21211)
Shell Canada is currently seeking a Geotechnical Technologist (U21211) for their Calgary location.
Requirements:
* Registered technologist with ASET or equivalent.
* 4+ years of experience in drafting construction drawings for large earthworks projects, preferably dams; managing technical databases and document quality management systems.
* Good knowledge of earthworks construction, preferably by mining scale equipment.
* Good written and oral communication skills.
* Skilled with 2-D and 3-D drafting and modeling software for quantity estimates.
Responsibilities:
* Drafting geotechnical construction drawings for tailings dams,waste dumps,and other large earth structures.
* Drafting figures for technical presentation,memoranda,letters and reports.
* Controls,files and distributes construction drawings,geotechnical documents and laboratory data.
