Our client, a US public listed company and global leader in industrial hydraulics has recently mapped an expansion effort on their operations in Asia. Their strategic restructure now calls for a competent individual to spear head sales in Indonesia with the aim on developing the network and business in the country.

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Mining/Mineral), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Others), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas), Engineering (Industrial) or equivalent.
Required skill(s): knowledge of Hydraulics.
At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants must be willing to work in Indonesia Jarkata.
Applicants should be Malaysian, Singaporean, Indonesian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
Preferably Managers specializing in Sales - Engineering/Technical/IT or equivalent.

Responsibilities:
The position will drive sales in Indonesia with the aim on providing engineering solutions in relation to the use of hydraulics and systems to a diverse spectrum of industries. This include identifying business opportunities, manage and execution of the project sales , gathering of market information, present quotations and contract agreements, monitor the respective projects in progress, organize customer feedbacks for quality and delivery issues, establish a network of relationships with direct customers, OEM and main contractors , execute marketing activities including planning of exhibitions, provide technical training and demonstration to end users, plan and nurture a team to develop the business, etc. This position is also significant in developing market intelligence and advisory to senior management

We envisage the ideal candidate to possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least ten years of experience in engineering sales, with targets of a clientele preferably in the Maritime or Mining industries, though not absolute in requirement. Basic knowledge of hydraulics and fluid system will be preferred. As the role is instrumental to the business growth in Indonesia, the candidate should be able to demonstrate the leadership in achieving the company’s objectives to ensure steady development of the market share. Proficiency in MS office will be required
