Geotechnical Geologist (GEOT)
Requirement:
Having knowledge of Knowledge of ArcView and Mapinfo applications, Mincom software
Having experiences in mining company
Geological mapping and contribution to the geotechnical understanding of the pit area
Knowledge of mining geology related computing and resource modelling software is preferable.
Computer literate
Good interpersonal skills.
Minimum Bachelor of Science in Geology or Geological Engineering (Indonesia) and demonstrates the ability to complete large and complex projects.

There are four key locations in Indonesia where Chevron operates its businesses in Indonesia:
Jakarta - the capital of Indonesia is where our head offices - Gedung Sarana Jaya (GSJ) and Sentra Senayan (SS) - are located, right in the middle of the fastest growing business area in the very heart of the city. Sumatra Operation (SMO) which consists of Duri, Rumbai, Minas and Dumai. Duri has the largest operation in Sumatra. Kalimantan Operation (KLO), which consists of Balikpapan (Pasir Ridge), Sepinggan, Yakin, Attaka and West Seno.
Geothermal Operation (GPO) there are two operation fields and both are located in the West Java mountainous area in Salak and Darajat. Salak sites are equipped with a sports hall that offers basketball, volleyball, badminton and table tennis. For Darajat, this facility is available in Garut. There is also a fitness and billiard center. Salak and Darajat are also relatively close to Bandung and Jakarta, offering all the shopping, eating and entertainment you would expect to find in any major city.

Responsibilities:
The Oil and Gas Logistics, Crude Oil and Product Quality Group, is one of 3 groups in a cluster that provides services to Supply/Distribution and at their interfaces with Manufacturing. Services are provided to refineries, gas plants, terminals and depots, as well as to other Shell Global Solutions (GS) groups and support activities (e.g. head office activities). Control of product quality can impact significantly on client profitability and market reputation. GS offers a range of product quality related technical consultancy services in the areas of Product Centred Refining, Laboratory performance, Product Movements, Product integrity (contamination) control in the supply chain, Blending and Biofuels.
These services include targeted margin improvement and refinery Master Planning studies, training, safety and integrity reviews and project support.
