A leading Refining and Petrochemical Company based in the Middle East urgently requires the following personnel:
• OPERATION COORDINATORS (MONOMER/POLYMER)
Graduate of Industrial College or at least High School Graduate with min. 9 years in the field of Monomer/Polymer Plants of Petrochemicals preferably holding Shift Supervisor position.
• CONSOLE OPERATORS (MONOMER/POLYMER)
Min. 9 yrs. of exp. in Petrochemical plant with Good communication skills in English language both in writing and speaking.
• SHIFT SUPERVISORS (MONOMER/POLYMER)
Degree/Diploma in Chem. Engg. with min. 6 yrs. of exp. in an operator position in the petrochemical field (Monomer/Polymer plant), out of that 3 yrs. in supervisor role.
Candidates should have work exp. in FCC, Ethylene Cracker or Polymer Plants (Polyethylene/HDPE/Poly Ethylene Glycol).

Job Duties

• Experience preferably with intervention in the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment utilized in offshore installations, such as Gas turbines and diesel engines for electric power generation, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, reciprocating and screw type air compressors, cranes, gas compressors, etc.

Job Duties
Perform, in line with OPQL policies, his production shift duties of operating and monitoring all processes and equipment associated with the station s oil / gas production, utility and safety systems. In the event of a station emergency, assume role as designated by OIS; for station shutdown, be part of the shutdown team. Be fully conversant with his responsibilities as Area Authority within the Permit to Work System for keeping the worksite safe and clean, and ensuring that all isolations are performed using the stated isolation procedures. Advise Senior Production Operator of any potentially hazardous situations.
Minimum Requirements:
• Five years experience in Petrochemical or Oil & Gas Industry
• Good understanding of Process & Production Systems & Equipment.
• Familiar with the needs & requirements of PTW systems.

Area Field Engineer
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
* University degree in Chemical Engineering, with at least 6 years of process design and implementation experience in oil and gas facilities or petrochemical plant, mainly in gas conditioning and processing. Field experience in gas or petrochemical plant is an advantage.
* Strong technical/engineering skills with a working knowledge of applicable Codes and Standards plus a general understanding of other discipline activities.
* Demonstrated ability in the use of process engineering tools including HYSIS, PIPESIM, and equipment rating programs.
* Basics of Design, Process Design & Safety System Design.
* Basic knowledge of process chemistry, including chemical treatment.
* Process Safety Management.
* Process Simulators and Computer Models.
* SAP experience or similar computer based system.
* Willingness to go where the work is during the various Project phases.
BASIC PURPOSE:
This position will be based in Jakarta with routine visit to Onshore field
* Provide Engineering support, guidance and assistance to the Onshore Operation Team matters relate to facilities and operability issues, with a strong emphasis on value adding activities and risk minimization.
* Responsible to provide innovation for plant production optimization
* Responsible to monitor plant performance
* Responsible to provide daily technical assistance and support the oil/gas plant (and pipeline) operation
* Responsible to review/study actual condition field using heat & material balance simulator and pipeline simulator
