Lead Instrument&Control Engineer (Qatar)-PF-033/14

Job Description
• B.Sc. in Instrument/Control Engineering from a recognized University;
higher degree would be advantageous
• Membership in a recognized professional engineering association (or
institution) is preferable.
• A Minimum of 15 years experience in Instrument and control design in
Oil & Gas Industry with an Oil & Gas Company or Consultant/Contractor of
which at least 5 years should have been in onshore projects
• A minimum of 8 years as lead Instrument and Control engineer
• Fully familiar with Instrument and Control sizing and design software
(e.g. Instrucalc, INTools etc) and SIL verification and validation design.
• Fully familiar with Fieldbus, SMART instrumentation, SIS systems,
Telemetry (SCADA) and HIPPS
• Familiar with telecommunication design aspects (e.g. CCTV, Access
control, PA/GA, wireless technology, marine radios, fiber optics etc)
• Familiar with main automation contractor (MAC) concept and experience
in handling automation contractors.
• Fully familiar with Shell DEPs and other international design codes
and standards
• Fully familiar with safety studies(e.g. HAZOP, SIL and Design review)


Senior Process Engineer (Onshore) PS-097/14 (Qatar)

Job Description
• B.Sc. in an Chemical Engineering discipline from a recognized
University; higher degree would be advantageous
• Membership in a recognized professional engineering
association/institution is preferable
• A minimum of 12 years experience in process design of Oil & Gas major
onshore projects with an Oil & Gas Company or Consultant/Contractor
• Experienced in hydraulic calculations, equipment sizing, process input
to mechanical and instrument datasheets and preparation & development of
PFD / P&ID.
• Experienced in formal process design reviews (e.g. HAZID, HAZOP and P&ID)
• Hands on experience with the process simulation design software’s
packages such as HYSYS, PIPESIM, PIPEPHASE, FLARENET, PIPENET, OLGA, etc
• Fully familiar with international engineering codes, standards and
regulations as well as project specifications
• Skills in: Effective communication and presentation


Lead Mechanical Engineer (Qatar-Onshore/Offshore)-PF-034/14

Job Description
• B.Sc. in Mech. Engineering from of a recognized University; higher
degree would be advantageous
• Membership of a recognised professional engineering association
(or institution) is preferable.
• A minimum of 15 years of relevant mechanical engineering design
experience for major offshore projects in Oil & Gas Industry with an
Oil & Gas Company or Consultant/Contractor
• A minimum of 8 years as lead mechanical and piping engineer
• Fully familiar with piping material selection, layout, stress
analysis and sizing studies and HVAC selection and sizing studies in
areas such as air handling units (AHU’s), large chilled water system
and condensing units.
• Experienced in developing and endorsing selection/application and
sizing studies for major rotating equipment, static equipment and
packaged equipment
• Fully familiar with international design codes, other relevant
standards applicable to piping and mechanical engineering
• Familiarity with all aspects of Safety in Design including HAZOP,
HAZID, QRA and Hazard quantification
• Experienced in FEED & Detail engineering development and EPIC
Contract execution of various rotating and static equipment
packages, piping engineering and HVAC packages encountered in the
offshore Oil & Gas Production/Processing facilities
• Proven ability to manage mechanical engineering team in a major
offshore project environment
• Skills in: leadership, communication and presentation


This position will be based in QATAR on 2 or 3 years contract.
