Fugro Survey is recruiting experienced Offshore Survey Engineer for our office in South East Asia-Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Brunei.
The Survey Engineer is one of the members of the Survey Team and is responsible for all aspects relating to the installation of all electronic survey equipment on the vessel or on site, including equipment maintenance and repairs as necessary during the survey project. He also assists in the operation of equipment during the course of the survey project.

To assist in the calibration and operation of the survey equipment during the course of the survey, as directed by the Party Chief.
To maintain a record of the survey equipment on the vessel(s).To maintain equipment fault logs.
To demobilise the survey equipment from the vessel(s) on project completion, and ensure it is packed securely in boxes suitable for transit.
Actively participates in Operations, Quality Assurance and HSE group meetings.
To be responsible for the installing of all survey equipment on the vessel(s) to be used for the project in hand, under the direction of the Party Chief, Operation Manager or Technical Manager.
To test the survey equipment once installed and ensure its correct operation.
To ensure that sufficient spares, consumables and manuals are onboard to maintain the survey equipment operational for the duration of the survey.
To have sufficient understanding of electronics and the equipment to fault find in the event of equipment failure.


position requirements

A Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
Min. 2 Years of Engineering/Technical experience in similar industry
Good interpersonal and Communication skills
