We are currently seeking an Equipment Technician to join our Technical Team.

Equipment Technician

Based in Wallingford (Oxfordshire)
Salary up to £18,000 per annum pro rata
10:00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday 30hours per week


The role

Your workload will be varied and focused on ensuring equipment is in good working order, clean and in a state of readiness for each mobilisation.

You will be required to travel from time to time (mainly in the UK) and undertake work that is often both physically and mentally demanding.

Minimum requirements

HND in a relevant subject such as electronics or physics
At least 2 years' relevant practical knowledge
Competence in troubleshooting with diagnostic instruments
Skilled in soldering and employing hand and power tools.
UK driving licence
IT literate
Flexible and adaptable to meet unexpected demands with tight time constraints
Able to work under pressure

Duties to include

Maintenance and repair of electronic apparatus
Equipment inspection and calibration
Maintenance of workshop facilities
Assisting project teams with equipment preparation
