PT Sulawesi Cahaya Mineral (SCM) is a partnership between Rio Tinto and Sherritt International Corporation from Canada, and is the holder of Mine Business Permit (IUP) for Exploration issued by Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources on February 25, 2010. SCM’s IUP covers area within Konawe Regency of Southeast Sulawesi Province and Morowali Regency of Central Sulawesi Province.

Senior Cost Analyst

A. Roles & responsibilities

Business Performance and Planning
• Provide on-time, accurate business information and analysis to management including timely reporting on progress against budget and forecasts, including corrective actions;
• Completion of the monthly management report for the business;
• Provide the overall monitoring and review of results and recommend corrective actions;
• Develop and obtain approval to implement the annual budget for the Indonesian business. This includes the alignment of the assumptions and plans with HQ;
• Ensure the budget and target setting process is sound, well developed and implemented in line with the expectations of the business including the long-term strategic goals;
• Ensure that the monthly forecasting process is reliable, timely and has integrity to manage performance and provide short term forecasting.

Financial accounting and compliance
• Development / enhancement of a satisfactory control framework, through the application of professional, corporate governance and compliance with group policies, internal audit;
• Active management and completion of the formal Balance Sheet Review process / reconciliations;
• Ensure corrective action is taken in all areas of weakness as identified in internal and external audits and in risk evaluations;
• Ensure the business complies with both IFRS and local accounting standards;
• Optimisation of current ERP system and IT functionality across the business, including implementing support structure and appropriate networks;
• Provide on the job training for junior staffs to maintain professionalism in all financial activities.

B. Requirements:
• accounting degree
• 3 – 7 years of relevant cost control experiences
• preferably having experience with large-scale mining and/or exploration
• good English communication (oral and written), interpersonal skills and attentive to detail
• travelling semi quarterly basis


Government Relations Officer for North Konawe-South East Sulawesi

This position will support the Management in handling matter of liaising with the local Government bodies including local permits administration, up date information of the local and regional Government Regulations, report preparation to local government bodies.

Requirements:
• At least S1 Degree from a reputable University
• Having a wide range of experience in Government Relations in Mining company (at least 5 years experience)
• Preferably having experience with large-scale mining and/or exploration
• Good understanding of Laws on Mining
• Preferably having good understanding of Central and Southeast Sulawesi regions
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good English abilities in reading, writing and speaking
• Good at dealing with governments and company’s stakeholders
• Able to work independantly.
• Good report writing skills.
