Principal Reservoir Engineer

In this integral role, you'll display reservoir engineering mastery in developing and overseeing characterization analyses and field development plans for our coal seam gas assets. Reporting to the Manager of Development, you'll be required to lead sub-surface development, present analysis and recommendations at peer reviews, ensure evaluations are documented and ensure compliance with our Subsurface Policies and Standards.

Good working knowledge of MS Office applications and superior skills in leadership, teamwork, presentation, relationship building, time management, project management and communication are required. High levels of self awareness, willingness to challenge established processes, a strong delivery focus and professional independence are similarly key.

Formal qualifications in the field and experience in a similarly challenging role in sub-surface engineering are required. Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of sub-surface engineering, competency in reservoir modeling and simulation and experience in dealing with complex field planning issues and coal seam gas development are also vital to success.
