Our client is an international operating Oil and Gas company base in Jakarta. They are currently looking for a high calibers Indonesian to fill out the following position:

OPERATION GEOLOGIST
(Consultant for a year)

Requirements:

• Have at least 8 year+ as an operation geologist,
• Have experience in Eastern Indonesia, understand the hazards in the overburden section and its mitigation,
• Have been exposed to latest logging technology that might be helpful in evaluating the reservoirs,
• Excellent command of the English language,
• Has good communication skill and interpersonal skill.

Job description:

1. To prepare formation evaluation contracting strategy,
2. To work together with the Drilling Team in how to mitigate risk in drilling the well, including incorporating the learning from other operators,
3. To monitor the wells being drilled, to do the routine reporting, documentation, and communication internally to management and externally to partners and government,
4. To capture subsurface lessons learned and share the learning for future drilling campaign,
5. To create final well reporting,
6. To do post mortem well analysis with the project Geologist.
