Our client is a leading natural forestry management company with more than 200,000 hectares concession in South America (WC-CS):

Chief Operating Officer - Timber/ Forestry Management (South America based)

The Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for leading all divisions such as logging, timber processing, and export, to ensure smooth operations, efficiency, high-quality standards – following the FSC certification process.

While developing forest management strategy based on corporate directives, you will work closely with global sales offices to fulfill customers’ orders, and lead the team to meet production deadlines. You will take full responsibility of budget control, recruitment and minimising overheads.

To qualify, you should have a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience with multinational companies, and five years of general management experience. The right candidate should possess sound knowledge of FSC, and solid experience in forest management. Excellent problem solving, analytical and people management skills are required for this opportunity, while overseas working experience is an advantage. Good command of written and spoken English is a must.
