Petrosea is a leading engineering, construction and mining company with a track record of achievement in Indonesia for more than 36 years. Petrosea has been involved in the development of Indonesia s considerable oil & gas, mining and infrastructure industries. Petrosea is also operating in Southeast Asia Region with some challenging projects.

Currently, we are seeking highly competent and calibrated people to fill in position with following experiences and skills:


ENGINEERING MANAGER (PROJECT)

Key purpose
To be fully accountable for the Engineering function to produce a cost effective engineered solution (including the development of appropriate specifications) for the project within the budgeted man-hours and within the tendered timeframe by utilizing capable and appropriate resources efficiently to ensure that procurement/construction activities commence on time.

Requirements
- Willing to work extended hours to meet engineering deadlines.
- Willing to travel to site.
- Able to ensure all designs produced are cost effective and within the budget constraints of the project.
- Able to develop a close relationship with the procurement manager.
- Having the comprehensive knowledge of engineering and procurement management principles and practices. Must possess an in depth knowledge of the engineering and design process as well as extensive experience in construction methods.
- Able to maximize project margins by ensuring appropriate technical specifications and codes are adopted to suit the requirements of the contract.
- Demonstrated effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Qualification
- Minimum Bachelor Degree preferably in Engineering.
- Minimum 15 (fifteen) years experiences in Engineering with 5 (five) years as a Manager.

SUBCONTRACTOR INTERFACE COORDINATOR (PROJECT)

Key purpose:

To be fully accountable and responsible for all interfaces between the project and its major subcontractor including all engineering disciplines and commercial issues to ensure that the output from the subcontractor is in strict accordance with the approved project specifications, accepted industry codes, contractual obligations and is performed as per the agreed schedule to ensure all deliverables are provided to suit the projects EPC schedule.

Requirements:

- Having proven track record of performing a Senior Project Engineers role is projects in the Mineral Sector that also encompasses a multi-cultural workforce with the use of International Subcontractors.
- Willing to work extended hours to meet with Project deadlines.
- Willing to work onsite in extreme remote areas with limited facilities.
- Willing to be based in the Project Office of the major subcontractor which is likely to be in a third country.
- Having comprehensive knowledge of engineering, procurement and construction management principles and practices. Must possess an in depth knowledge of the Engineering and design process as well as extensive experience in construction methods.
- Having multitasking capabilities (project engineering, scheduling, budgeting, commercial and contractual, etc).
- Able to supervise and evaluate the work of the subcontractor.
- Capable of working independently and self regulated.
- Able to maximize project margins by ensuring that all interfaces are effectively managed.
- Able to minimize re-work by being involved in constructability reviews.
- Capable of providing assistance to startup and commissioning teams.

Qualification:

- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 15 (fifteen) years experiences as an Interface Manager or Project Engineer.

SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER

Key purpose:

To be fully accountable and responsible for the technical execution of a Project (or section of a Project) including the liaison and control between Engineering/Procurement/Construction to ensure that all materials and services that are purchased, fabricated, and constructed are delivered on time and in strict accordance with the approved project specifications and accepted industry codes, as well as providing specific solutions to constructability or interface (clash) issues during the construction phase.

Requirements:

- Having proven track record of performing a Senior Project Engineers role in projects in the Mineral Sector that also encompasses a multi-cultural workforce with the use of International Subcontractors.
- Willing to work extended hours to meet with Project deadlines.
- Willing to work onsite in extreme remote areas with limited facilities.
- Having comprehensive knowledge of engineering, procurement and construction management principles and practices. Must possess an in depth knowledge of the Engineering and Design process as well as extensive experience in construction methods.
- Having multitasking capabilities (project engineering, scheduling, budgeting, etc).
- Able to supervise and evaluate the work of subordinates.
- Able to maximize Project margins by ensuring appropriate Technical Specifications and Codes are adopted and followed by all Vendors and Fabricators to ensure the design life integrity is achieved.
- Able to minimize re-work by being involved in constructability reviews.
- Capable of providing assistance to startup and commissioning team.

Qualification:

- Minimum Bachelor degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 15 (fifteen) years previous experiences as Project Engineer.

CONTRACTS ENGINEER

Key purpose:

Prepare, quantify and clarify legal binding documents in order to minimise any exposure to risk for company.

Requirements:

- Certified quantity surveyor / engineer.
- Experienced in contracts administration.
- Computer literate.
- Fluent English - oral & written.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Attention to details. Highly motivated & able to work under minimum supervision.
- Team player & good communication skills.

Qualification:

- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years experienced as Contracts Engineer.

PROJECT MANAGER

Key purpose:

Be totally accountable for the Project achieving all safety targets as well as the realization of the budgeted profit as well as all facets of the Project meeting the agreed KPI s by being directly involved with all safety, commercial, cost, procurement, and planning activities from the commencement of the Project to the issue of the practical completion certificate by and by enforcing the use of all the company standard procedures to the total satisfaction of the client and other Project stakeholders.

Requirements:

- Having proven track record of managing multi-discipline Projects in the Mineral Sector that also encompasses a multi-cultural workforce with the use of International Subcontractors.
- Willing to work extended hours to meet the deadline.
- Having comprehensive knowledge of engineering, procurement and construction management principles and practices. Must possess an in depth knowledge of the Engineering and Design process as well extensive as experience in construction project management.
- Able to maximize Project profits by ensuring rigid commercial terms are adopted for all subcontracts and the effective management of same. Ability to recognize potential claims and manage project contract activities to avoid costly claims and litigation.
- Capable of supervising and evaluating the work of subordinates.
- Able to communicate effectively both oral and written.
- Able to develop and maintain effective monitoring and control systems and carry them to the intended conclusions to meet the agreed Project goals.

Qualification:

- Minimum 12 (twelve) years previous experiences in construction and engineering.
- Minimum Bachelor Degree, preferably in Engineering.


STUDY MANAGER

Requirements:

1) Degree in engineering (mining, mechanical, civil).
2) Min. 5 (five) years experience as a Study Manager in mining and/or mining infrastructure projects.
3) Good communication and presentation skills including report writing skill – English is mandatory.
4) Able to travel to sites.
5) Strong leadership and team building skills.
6) Able to work independently.
7) Computer literate.

Responsibilities:

1) Supporting BD Department in preparation of Feasibility Study projects proposal including budget cost estimation and schedule.
2) Developing and managing a project team in execution of a Feasibility Study project involving engineers, project engineers, designers, project control and scheduler, construction team, as well as sub-contractors/consultants.
3) Controlling and monitoring the project team activities in day to day basis in relation to schedule, costs and progress.
4) Capable to analyze options & possibilities and to provide best technology solution.
5) Capable to analyze economical or financial models.
6) Maintaining good and positive relationship with the Client.
7) Developing reports and writes up of an FS project.
8) Conducting a presentation session to the Client or to internal Management.
9) Having knowledge of related Government regulations and/or permits for mining projects would be an advantage.
