Senior Project Geologist (Based in Perth, Western Australia)

Requirements:

Relevant Mine Geology experience.
Knowledge of surface and underground mining techniques and practices.
Demonstrated knowledge and application of occupational health and safety legislation and practices.
Previous management skills with a large multidisciplinary workforce.
Sound verbal communication skills, including listening, consultation and negotiation.
Excellent prioritization and problem solving skills.
Good delegation and personnel management skills.
Excellent planning, implementation and reviewing of assigned tasks and targets.
Highly motivated to work with other departments. Communicating and resolving issues to achieve maximum head grade within other operational constraints.
Ability to manage and motivate personnel as part of a professional, technical team.
Experience with drilling techniques and contract supervision.
Competent knowledge and experience in sampling, block modeling and advanced grade estimation techniques.
Applicants must be willing to work in Perth, Western Australia


Key Responsibilities:
Will be responsible for Safety, costs, Resources, Reserves, reconciliations and grade predictions from Mt Charlotte underground. Safety and continuous improvement systems for the company geology department.
