ENV0006_SENIOR SUPERVISOR - MINE ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE

Responsibility:
Ensure that the personnel of the Environmental Compliance Mine - Support areas conduct their responsibilities in accordance with their job descriptions, other relevant environmental project/program, and to ensure PTNNT operates in accordance with Corporate Environmental Policy, Indonesian Environmental Standards, other Permits and Regulations, and US Environmental Standards where more stringent, and PTNNTs ANDAL, RPL, RKL and permits.

Qualification:
• A minimum college degree in environmental mining or environmental chemistry and/or science-related field.
• Five (5) years + experience in mine water management and program development to collect scientific data pertaining to regulatory compliance requirements with an emphasis on regulatory programs within the mining industry.
• Experienced in environmental compliance including B3 and NonB3 waste management within the mining (similar) industry.
• Well understand on government regulations and international guidelines related to environmental.
• Experienced in conducting multiple media environmental sampling, monitoring and trend analysis.
• High English proficiency in writing and speaking; strong determination and communication skills.


MEN0081_SENIOR ENGINEER - GEOTECHNICAL EX PIT

Responsibility:
Carry out and supervise day to day geotechnical activities to support the Batu Hijau project area, including slope performance assessment, slope instrumentation monitoring evaluation and reporting, slope hazard assessment, risk assessments, maintaining communication protocols, carrying out technical stability assessments and associated reporting, recommending remedial slope designs and assessing their implementation, updating and developing relevant procedural controls.


Qualification:
• BS Degree in Geology, Geological Engineering or Civil Engineering with at least six (6) years of related experience.
• Must have an advanced knowledge of technical software packages regularly used in geotechnical engineering.
• Advanced technical knowledge of geotechnical and hydro geological engineering is required.
• Able to do geotechnical/civil design.
• Capable to operate mining softwares such as Minesight, and geotechnical softwares such as Dips, Slide, SlopeW, SeepW and other.
• The candidates who can operate FLAC and Map3D would be an advantage.
• Has experience specifically related to mining project development is necessary. This may include waste dumps, mining rock mechanics and waste management facilities.
• The candidate should have a strong technical design background in geotechnical analyses and must be able to work within multidisciplinary teams.
• Management of Geotechnical projects.


ENV0063_ASSIST MANAGER - ENV COMPLIANCE & MINE CLOSURE – JKT

Responsibility:
To utilize strong leadership, organizational, and technical skills to ASSIST manage the implementation of Newmont Corporate Environmental Management Systems and Performance Standards; and to ENSURE that the company ADHERES TO Indonesian legal and regulatory requirements partner and lender covenants; and Newmont Corporate Standards are met or exceeded.

Assist in the completion of mine closure of Newmont’s Minahasa mine site through strong technical resources & decision making skills as well as excellent relationship building with the company’s stakeholders.

Assist in maintaining liaison & coordination with external / independent parties & contractors in carrying out environmental studies/surveys and ensuring adherences to standard scientific methods& interpretations thereof.

Assist in facilitating Newmont Indonesian sites propose/ apply environmental permits to ensure compliance against Indonesian regulations & international standards/best management practices.

Qualification:
• Advanced graduate qualifications (S2) in Environmental Sciences or related field and equivalent combination of training and experience in leading large multi national mining sites.
• Five years minimum experiences with environmental management responsibility for mining or related industrial operations.
• Has a good relation with government agencies related to the environmental and/or mining issue.
• Strong conceptual and analytical thinking skills, good human resource skills and cultural sensitivity.
• Strong determination and communication skills.
• Technical knowledge in mining and Environment practices.
• Technical knowledge of the management of submarine tailing disposal.
• Familiar with the US Code of Federal Regulations, the Nevada Administrative Code and Indonesian Regulations as they apply to environmental requirements.
• Networks of relationships with International professional organizations.
• Physicall fit and likes to travel.

ENV0001_MANAGER ENVIRONMENTAL AFFAIR

Responsibility:
Manage regional environmental compliance with Indonesian legal and regulatory obligations; partner and lender covenants; and Newmont corporate requirements (collectively stakeholder obligations).

Responsibility for environmental risk and opportunity management associated with major projects in Indonesia and working closely with senior management to develop appropriate management, liaison and permitting strategies so that developments, operational schedules and production targets can be realized.

Provide advanced technical environmental evaluation, recommendations and implementation for major projects, design changes, mine and closure liability and planning, current operating practices, environmental studies and critical monitoring results and trends.

Assist Newmont Corporate ESR (Environmental Social Responsibility) with the development of Environmental Policy, Guidelines, the Five Star/ISOl400l Environmental Management System and Performance Standards. Manage the implementation of corporate requirements for Indonesia, including the development, maintenance and implementation of supporting operational policy and guidelines.

Qualification:
• Advanced graduate qualifications in Environmental Sciences or related field and equivalent combination of training and experience in leading large multi-national mining sites.
• Ten years minimum experiences with environmental management responsibility for mining operations.
• History of positions of increasing responsibility with management and coordination experience.
• Strong conceptual and analytical thinking skills, excellent human resource skills and cultural sensitivity.
• Strong determination and communication skills including strong network on relationship with international professional organizations.
• Experience in reclamation, mine water management and/or deep sea tailings placement and advantage.
• Familiar with the US Code of Federal Regulation, the Nevada Administrative Code and Indonesian Regulations as they apply to the environmental requirements.
