Senior Mechanical Engineers (Energy)

Requirements:
• Willingness to travel to work at sites nationally and internationally for periods of time, as necessary.
• Must be willing to work in Jakarta.
• Should be Indonesian, others citizens or hold relevant residence status.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and report writing skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team and independently as required.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide less senior engineers.
• Preferred with working experience in mining and/or manufacturing industries.
• Exposure to a broad range of generation technologies, including coal-fired and gas-fired plants.
• Demonstrated understanding of power plant thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer.
• Demonstrated understanding and experience in commercial conditions and financial management of tenders and contracts.
• Demonstrated understanding and experience of power generation plant and systems.
• Demonstrated understanding and experience with all stages of plant design, testing, installation, commissioning and maintenance.
• Proven ability to deliver appropriate engineering solutions within a budget and time frame.
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance systems and associated documentation.
• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputable University.
• Excellent English skills (Verbal and Written).
• A minimum 10 years experience in the power generation industry gained through either design or technical project management or asset/maintenance management roles.
• Ability to effectively use modern analytical and office software tools including thermodynamic analysis software package (eg Thermoflow suite of software).
