PT Golden Energy Mines Tbk (GEMS) (www.goldenenergymines.com) is the owner and operator of 3 producing coal projects in Indonesia, namely Borneo Indobara (“BIB”), Kuansing Inti Makmur (“KIM”) and Trisula Kencana Sakti (“TKS”). The 3 projects are comprised of 8 coal concessions that span an area totaling approximately 36.000 hectares in South and Central Kalimantan and Sumatra.

One of our subsidiaries in Coal Mining is currently expanding and looking for highly qualified candidates to fill the following position:

Expiry date: July 01, 2013

1. Electrical Engineering Senior Supervisor (Code: ESS)

a. Minimum 5 years experiences to involve Capital & Operating project in Mining Industry (Coal, Nickel, Gold, etc)
b. Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from reputable university.
c. Having good knowledge in Electrical Engineering, specific: Medium Voltage & Low voltage for power distribution system to Crushing Plant, Screening Station, Stacking & Reclaimer, Building & Infrastructure Facility, etc
d. Ability to using AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Ms Office, etc
e. Good Command in English both oral and written
f. Good understanding the standard role of the Electrical works
g. Highly self motivated person, good communication skill, attention to details, accurately, hard working, good initiative & team work
h. Flexible and dynamic person, willing to work either in Jakarta or site area

2. QA / QC Manager (Code : QCM)

Requirements:
a. Minimum 10 years experience to involve Capital & Operating project in mining industry (Coal, Nickel,Iron, Gold, etc)
b. Graduated S1 from reputable university, Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineer
c. Having good knowledge in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering, specific: Bulk Material Handling Equipment (Crusher, Screen, Apron Feeder, Conveyor, Stacking, Reclaiming, Barge Loading, Shift Loading, etc) Infrastructure & Utility Facility (Power Supply, Fuel Handling, Water Supply System, Building, Road, Bridge, etc)
d. Able to use AutoCAD< Microsoft Project, MS Office, etc e. Good command in English both oral and written f. Good understanding on the standard role of the Mechanical works, Electrical works, Instrument Work & Civil Works g. High self-motivated person, good communication skill, attention to details, accurate, hardworking, good initiative & team work h. Flexible & dynamic person, willing to work either in Jakarta or site area 3. Project Controller Manager (Code: PCM) Requirements: a. Minimum 10 years experiences to supervise Capital Project in Mining Industry (Coal, Nickel, gold, etc) b. Bachelor of Civil/Mechnical/Electrical Engineering from reputable university c. Ability to using AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Ms Office, etc d. Good Command in English both oral and written e. Strong Background in Management or Project f. Highly self motivated person, good communication skill, attention to details, accurately, hard working, good initiative & team work g. Good Understanding the standard rule of the project delivery system h. Flexible and dynamic person, willing to work either in Jakarta or site area Responsibilities: i. Explain Project’s objective to project estimators and Analyst and ensures that they grasp the concept and estimate correctly j. Provision of estimates for all engineering projects and reviews estimated costs with Project Manager for completeness k. Monitor on periodic basis cost performance against budget l. Check and investigate variance between budget quantity and actual/forecast cost of components in a project m. Advise the Project Manager on the variation of project costs commitment, and recommend for appropriate variation settlement n. Supervision of clerical staff responsible for capital purchases o. Preparation of cost status reports p. Create and update the Engineering and Procurement phase schedule of the project q. Identify critical paths on the project and advise the Project Manager r. Review logic with the engineer, procurement, and construction personnel to develop optimum schedule s. Identify the person responsible for each activity 4. Surveyor Supervisor (Code : SSP) Requirements: - Male min. 20 years and max 30 years old, - Min D3 Geodetic from reputable University, - Having minimum within 1‐2 years experience on civil construction & mining, - Able to communicate in English - Knowledge of mine planning and survey related software - Willing to work at mine site, and remote area Responsibilities: - Periodic surveys of mining progress of both overburden and coal stockpile reconciliation - Understand topographical surveys and productions coal mines - Preparation of mine plans / section as per the mining law of Indonesia and per other needs, Prepare detailed surveys of mine workings - Preparation of plans from field surveys - Mine planning and maintaining computer models of mine. 5. Land Acquisition Staff (Code: LAS) Responsibilities: a. Developing strategies to resolve land access and land use conflicts in line with company policy and standards and maintaining positive company profile and reputation in the conduct of all land acquisition activities. b. Ensuring proper documentation of all land transactions to provide comprehensive records in line with legal requirements and future asset protections. c. Plan, communicate and negotiation land compensation requirement with land owners within reasonable price and time frame. d. Final review upon all supporting document to ensure it has been accurately prepared and completed based on standard operating procedure and regulation. e. Plan, manage and control problems handling and potential issues handling related with Land acquisition plan and implementation activities (including identify the problems, liaise with company’s lawyer/law firm). Requirements: f. Min. S1 from reputable university. g. Min 2 years relevant experience in land compensation and land acquisition in coal mining industries and or tower building companies. h. Good track records of delivering quality and targets within established variances. i. Ability to schedule and complete the assigned tasks. j. Good knowledge in mining industry and ability to collect and analyze local data for problem solving tools. k. Ability to work collaboratively within team colleagues. l.
