OPERATION GEOLOGIST

Work location: PT. Pertamina Hulu Energi West Madura Offshore – Jakarta Office
Department: Exploration

Summary Position:

To review geological data acquisition and analysis programs for exploration and development activities, supervise and monitor drilling operations and contractors in order to ensure well site geological activities meet Companys safety and environment protection policies.


Requirements:
• Minimum Bachelors Degree from Geology
• Minimum 8 years of working experiences in Geological Operations
• Offshore experience as Wellsite and Operation Geologist
• Skill in well planning, well monitoring, report preparation, wellsite supervision and logging procedures.
• Language Profiency: English
• Computer Literacy: Microsoft Office

Key Accountabilities:
1. To conduct communication on any occurred deviations from plan and preparation of mitigations options to E&E team, in order to achieved success drilling operations.
2. To implement coordination between E&E and Drilling operations in preparing and reviewing Drilling Programs, in order to ensure the programs can run properly, effectively, safely, timely as per planned;
3. To communicate on any occurred deviations from plan and prepare options of mitigations to the Management, SKK Migas and other related parties, in order to ensure optimum achievement of operations targets;
4. To coordinate with Wellsite Geologist, perform Quality Control and evaluation/interpretation of wellsite data as well as logging and coring, in order to ensure high quality standards of wellsite data;
5. To implement technical justification for tendering and contracting of all Geological Operations purposes, in order to ensure proper alignment between technical requirement and contract scopes;
6. To supervise Geological Operations contractors, including performing quality control of all tools and equipment, in order to ensure contractors can deliver high quality of Geological Operations services;
7. To review, validate and distribute final well report and well completion log, in order to ensure good database of all Geological Operations.
