PT Batutua Tembaga Raya (BTR), in cooperation with PT Batutua Kharisma Permai (BKP), is the operator of the Wetar Copper Project, a heap leach solvent extraction-electro winning (SX-EW) Copper Project on Wetar Island, Maluku Barat Daya. A SX-EW Plant will start producing up to 25,000 tonne per annum copper cathode from Kali Kuning and Lerokis deposits, with development activities commencing this year.

We are URGENTLY looking for suitably qualified and professional candidates to fill the following positions based at site on Wetar Island with roster working system: 5/3 ( five) weeks on following 3 (three) weeks off.

ENVIRONMENTAL SUPERINTENDENT (1 person)

Requirements:
• Male / Female, Maximum 40 years old,
• Possessing Degree in Science, Engineering, Environmental Management or a related discipline with 5 year experience in similar role,
• Hands on experience in environmental good practices and the implementation of related regulations and standards,
• Accustomed to government reporting including, but not limited to, RKAB, RKTTL, Mine Closure, Reclamation and Ijin Pinjam Pakai Kawasan Hutan (IPPKH).
• Experiencing in mine project closure and commissioning is an advantage.
• Acquiring the AMDAL A, Ahli K3LH Umum, POP certifications and other related work certifications.
• Willing to work on FIFO basis at Wetar Copper Project.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent computer skills mainly MS Office with AutoCAD, MapInfo is an advantage.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English is desirable.
• Excellent organizational, communications and people management skills.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the whole aspects of Environmental Department including budgeting, implementation, evaluation and reporting,
• Member of project compliance team to ensure the fulfillment of the related regulations and obligations,
• Developing, proposing, directing and evaluating environmental programs to ensure that all activities in line with the company environmental policies, practices and planning,
• Supporting site management team in the implementation of the Mine’s EMS and its integration into other management systems including AMDAL,
• Assist in the establishment of environmental training needs analysis,
• Managing environmental monitoring and management inclusive to environmental sampling, rehabilitation, hazardous goods, and environmental reporting,
• Auditing, analyzing and collating environmental performance data and providing internal and government reports,
• Keeping up to date with changes in environmental legislations


HR Employee Superintendent (1 Person)

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

Requirements:
• Male / Female, Maximum 40years old,
• Bachelor degree in Law, Social Politic and Psychology other related field.
• Knowledge of human behavior, performance and internal consulting.
• Minimum 5 year experience in the HR focusing in Employee Relation.
• Experience in mining company is preferred.
• Good leadership, interpersonal skill and teamwork minded.
• Familiar with Indonesian labor and union laws.
• Experience in handling disputes and industrial relations cases.
• High attention to detail and must be able to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with others and contribute to a harmonious working environment
• Problem solving and analytical ability
• Willing to work on FIFO basis at Wetar Copper Project.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent computer skills mainly MS Office.

Responsibilities:
• Implementation of Company Regulation, CLA (Company Labour Agreement), Manpower Ministry Regulation and all Labor law.
• Socialization and counseling to every employee who want to know about the existing regulation.
• Handle disciplinary action when employees violating rules.
• Handle all case to PHI Court when the case of disciplinary of employees must be solved to the Third Party.
• Develop and maintain good relationship with regional and local government such as Man power, Police, Mine & energy and communities around project to have smooth company s operational activities
• Handling employee’s administrations, such as employee Loan, Medical Ins (employee hospitalization), field break schedule, issued warning letter/ termination etc.
• Coordinate and monitor permits and formalities matters including company licenses in Site operations permit and also expatriate personnel formalities licenses to ensure all permits and formalities are complete and valid.
