In Indonesia Murphy opened its representative office in mid 2006, and signed its first Production Sharing Contract (PSC) in May 2008 for the South Barito Block in South Kalimantan. This was followed by the Semai II, Wokam II and Semai IV blocks, all in Eastern Indonesia.
Vacancies exist within Oil & Gas Company for the position of Audit Accountant and Contract Specialist. Those individual who are enthusiastic, highly numerate and have excellent English skills, with a natural ability to communicate clearly are welcome to apply.
Audit Accountant
The individual could have minimum 3 years experience as an Auditor. An experience in Oil and Gas Company would be an advantage.
This position will report to and assist Sr. Finance Manager in facing all audits from Murphy Internal, Partners and Government. Audit Accountant will also involved and assist in daily accounting activities, Internal Control and Procedures review, FCPA compliances, Financial Reporting and Tax issues including prepare accounting entries and reports in accordance with Indonesian and Murphy accounting standards.
Contract Specialist
Individual with minimum 3 years working experience in Oil and Gas Procurement. Preferably someone who has a legal background/education.
This position will report to and assist Procurement Manager in drafting and negotiating contracts and evaluating its performance. The responsibilities will include processing terms and conditions exceptions received during tender process, interpreting terms of a contract and ensuring compliance with Company’s policies and all applicable Indonesian law. In addition, Contract Specialist will also assist in daily requisition processing and tender administration.
