Member of research staff (m/f)

The successful candidate will work within the BMBF-funded project "Sustainability concepts for exploitation of geothermal reservoirs in Indonesia - capacity building and methodologies for site deployment" in the field of geothermal power generation. Indonesia has one of the world's largest geothermal potential, of which only a small part is being used so far. The project aims to develop and make available modern and sustainable technology solutions for geothermal energy use in a multidisciplinary collaboration with local partner organizations.

Qualifications:
* Degree in mechanical engineering, power engineering, process engineering or equivalent qualification
* Practical Experience in power plant engineering, preferably in low-temperature power generation
* Knowledge of geothermal power generation
* Very good English skills
* Project management experience
* Independent, flexible and team-oriented approach

Tasks:
* Participation in developing a concept for a low-temperature geothermal demonstration power plant (ORC) an Indonesian site
* Monitoring of the construction planning and execution in Germany and Indonesia
* Correspondence with German and Indonesian partners
* Reporting and documentation of project progress
* Interdisciplinary and intercultural teamwork

Start: As soon as possible
Duration: 2 years
