QP is looking for qualified Senior Petroleum Engineers with experience in: oil field development, gas field development, and or oil & gas exploration.

Essential Experience:

* A minimum of 12 years experience
* BSc in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
* Must have strong teamwork skills, and it would be an advantage to have experience working in a multicultural environment
* Must have experience/knowledge of current computer software for production engineering applications; PROSPER, OFM, GAP
* Fluency in written and verbal English

Field Development (Reference UK601777/FD)

Provide Petroleum Engineering support for QP oil fields. This includes all aspects of drilling, well completion and workover activities, from job design to on-site implementation. Conduct well surveillance, including performance modelling and interpretation. Conduct reservoir management activities. Participate in interdisciplinary reservoir study teams. Develop and mentor less experienced staff.

* Demonstrated Surveillance/Production Engineering expertise in optimizing well production in large oil and gas fields.
* Proven experience at recommending remedial wellwork solutions for horizontal wells in heterogeneous oil reservoirs with variable geo-layer parameters: porosity, permeability, water saturation, thickness, etc.
* Experience with interpretation of cased hole production and diagnostic logs
* Experience with well testing and allocation of well test/production data.
* Experience with tubing & IPR modelling and Gas Lift design/troubleshooting.

* Must have experience mentoring less experienced engineers

Exploration (Reference UK601777/EX)

Reviews methodology for the well drilling, completion of wells and ensures EPSA/DPSA operators are using state-of-the-art technology. Monitors exploration/appraisal wells testing and performance and proposes suitable measures to ensure optimum testing. Stays abreast of and advises EX management on possible changes to current wellbore design, testing and completion programmes, gas-lift design etc..

* Experience of well drilling, testing, completion and workover activities, inclusive of job design, implementation and extensive on-site experience.
* Well performance modeling software and interpretation.
* Technical expert for all downhole activities, such as exploration/appraisal drilling, well completion, gas-lift, acid stimulation and wells abandonment.

North Gas Field Development (Reference UK601777/NF)

Monitors the offshore gas wells programs with respect to drilling, coring, completion and testing and reviews proposed programs/amendments to ensure compliance with drilling / completion requirements and guidelines.

* Proposes ways and means to improve the conducted work and/or to enhance its utilization.
* Coordinate and control Drilling and completion data collection for Gas wells of underdeveloped / new hydrocarbon resources.
* Acts as technical expert on Drilling/Completion activities to scrutinize, monitor and report on Drilling/Completion plans and programs/activities carried out by concessionaires for the development of North Field gas resources.
* Identifies designs and ensure execution of drilling/completion activities, adopting most effective tools and technologically advanced techniques.
