Our client is a renowned leader in the construction of large-scale power plants, using the latest in design and engineering concepts, up to the equipment and technology involved in new power plants. They are a EPCC company, and Malaysia is one of their global hubs and center of competence for new power plant businesses.

Project Director/Manager
(Jakarta Raya - Jakarta)

Requirements:
Degree in Engineering - Civil/Mechanical/E&E
Minimum 10 years working experience in power plant construction
Excellent experience in large scale projects around the world, or several countries
Excellent experience in working with people of various disciplines across the globe
Able to lead an international team, either in-house staff or staff in other countries
Self motivated with a proactive attitude.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Good negotiation skills.
Commercial minded.
Able to set and works to strict time goals.
Willing to travel
Expatriates will be considered.

Responsibilities:
Assumes full responsibility for the execution of the power station project at Hand Over from Sales until all obligations are complete.
Development and implementation of the Project Execution Strategy to deliver the project within the contract specification, programme, budget and cash targets
Establishment and management of, the project team and organisation including consortium arrangements with parties external to the company, internal business units involved in the projects and Plant functions.
Support of the Sales and Tendering team during negotiation of large power projects.
Delegation of responsibility for portions of the project scope to the project team members
Developing and management of the relationship with the customer, ensuring communication is clear and addressing issues effectively
Reporting project progress (including financial) with clear identification of key issues which impact, or may influence, the project success
