Senior Pipeline Engineer
(Kuala Lumpur, Travel to Miri (as necessary))


Responsibilities:
The Senior Pipeline Engineer is responsible for all aspects of pipeline engineering design during each project execution phase, whilst adhering to project specifications and Pöyry Energy design standards.

As a member of the Project Team you will work closely and communicate effectively with the other engineering disciplines, Pöyry management and client representatives to ensure the company’s reputation for high quality products and services is maintained.


Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Others), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas), Engineering (Marine) or equivalent.
Required skill(s): Pipeline, FEED & Concept studies, Oil & Gas.
Preferred skill(s): Subsea, Off-shore.
Required language(s): English.
At least 12 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants should be Malaysian, Singaporean, Filipino, Indian, Indonesian, others citizens or hold relevant residence status.
Preferably Managers specializing in Engineering - Oil/Gas or equivalent.
Full-Time and Contract position available.

Responsibilities:
• Provide pipeline engineering support to the multi-disciplined project team during each stage of project execution.
• Prepare Basis of Design and guide parameters for cost estimates for specialist pipeline elements
• Document risk assessment and design assumptions for concept options
• Liaise with the other disciplines, client's engineering and production personnel to ensure consistent basis for all input parameters
• Perform all work in accordance with agreed time and schedule constraints
Qualifications and experiences required:
• Civil, Mechanical, Marine or Pipeline Engineering degree or Pipeline related post graduate studies and Professional membership with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers or equivalent
• Minimum 12 years proven experience in off-shore O&G engineering, with at least 5 of those years in pipeline design, including across all project phases (conceptual studies, FEED and detailed engineering design)
• Specific knowledge and understanding of design details and relevant pipeline standards and specification
