Turnover Engineer / Assistant

Requirements:
• Has a degree in Engineering or its equivalent
• Minimum 7 years of experience for Engineer position (3 years for Assistant role) of commissioning and turnover Activities on Oil & Gas, Petrochemical projects and environment.
• Good communication skills,
• Willing to work in a multinational Team and challenging environment,
• Methodical and organized,
• Good Knowledge of pre-commissioning / commissioning / start-up philosophy
• Overseas working experience will be an advantage.


Responsibilities:

Primary Objectives:

• To ensure progressive & systematic acceptance & retention of welding records to enable turnover of original records to the Client on handover of major parts of the project.

Specific Accountabilities:

• Ensure all quality control records for the work are progressively accumulated, indexed & available to support a phased systematic acceptance & handover of the plant to the Client in accordance with the project Acceptance of the Work Plan.
• Assist In the site audits carried out on the construction site by Client audit teams.
• Immediately stop any unsafe work practices which are likely to cause accidents or are injurious to health.
• Using P&ID's plot layouts & other drawings & documents define the construction & commissioning deliverables in the form Systems, Areas, Buildings & Modules.
• Compile handover dossiers in formats agreed with Client.
• Compile & consolidate punch lists, & provide auditable trail to ensure that all punch list items are recorded & signed off by authorized personnel upon completion.
• Advice Construction Superintendents & Construction Supervisors of status of completion of projects & provide progress & status reports as required.
• Set up, populate & maintain the turnover & Acceptance of the Work database system or other data base engineering information systems used to track progress & store handover data.
• Ensure the Acceptance of the Work processes is clearly specified & agreed with Client before implementation; ensure compliance with these requirements thereafter.
