We are expanding our organization by a 800.000 tonnes pa ethylene cracker complex (ECC), including a benzene extraction plant and a butadiene extraction plant in Bukom, and a 750,000 tonnes per annum Mono-Ethylene Glycol (MEG) plant on Jurong Island using Shell’s proprietary technology. We are currently resourcing for our Maintenance organization and invite applications for:
1. Assistant Instrument Engineer
(Singapore)
Requirements:
You should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of experience, or a Diploma with 6 - 8 years of relevant instrumentation working experience.
You will also be required to perform emergency duties, if the need arises.
Responsibilities:
You will provide day-to-day maintenance and / or troubleshooting for all instrument engineering related matters.
You will also manage and supervise contractors personnel in carrying out preventive and breakdown maintenance works and to ensure optimum usage of contractor manpower and the central maintenance workshop.
2. Assistant Furnace Engineer
(Singapore)
Requirements:
You should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/ Structural Engineering with at least 3 years experience in the oil refinery or petrochemical industry.
A Diploma with minimum 5 years experience in oil refinery or petrochemical industry will also be considered.
You should have knowledge in gas and liquid furnaces and auxiliary equipment such as burners/ transfer lines/exchanges and knowledge in refractory and insulation.
Responsibilities:
You have to maintain and repair ethylene cracker furnaces (gas and liquid) and its auxiliary equipment such as burners and TLE.
You will also carry out root cause analysis and improvement to the technical availability of the furnaces.
