Due to our opening new project, we are looking for suitably qualified and professional candidates to fill the following positions:
1. SUPPLY CHAIN SUPERINTENDENT
(ASSET Dept – Jakarta Based)
Responsible to plan and coordinate, in conjunction with SCM/Procurement Department, all activities related to Asset Management inventory management, Key PVA negotiations, vendor performance management, capital purchases and Service Support that relate to AMG activities or responsibilities.
Complete attention to support of AMG site requirements with great emphasis on timing of supply, correctness of supply and real terms economic value of supply.
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in any discipline from reputable local university is preferred, but not compulsory
• Minimum 10 years professional experience in related field, out of which 5 years in supervisory/managerial position
• Able to establish policies and procedures and evaluate program effectiveness
• Able to prepare, justify and administer a budget
• Managerial skill, Human relation, leadership, English language, Networking capability, Communication capability
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements
• Ensure a full functional procurement support for Asset group with required systems and procedure.
• Annual and three month rolling procurement plan, factoring demand and generate supply options including preferred vendors.
• Active involvement on Capital purchase – vendor negotiation for lead time, commercial and technical/support terms.
• Set up and administer preferred vendor agreements including alliance, consignment stocking, quantity discounts for vendor performance and procurement process efficiency.
• Vendor performance management against the PVA terms & condition – regular review with vendors for rectifying the shortfalls with specific actions in place
• Responsible for sale of used equipment, excess inventory and scrap- develop standard website to publish equipment sale to attract potential buyers.
• Work with SCM/Logistics on the expediting and logistics activities from vendors, transportation, clearance and coordinate with receiving site / department for timely and safe delivery of AGM related items.
• Site AMG inventory management with a goal to achieve higher service level – goods delivered on time without holding excess inventory.
• Active involvement on tyre budget & forecast preparation.
• Ensure comprehensive analysis done on tyre performance & come up with corrective actions engaging vendors – with a goal to lower cost on tyres.
2. OPERATION MANAGER
(Logistic & Services Dept – Jakarta Based)
Manage the interface between various Clients & Partners Projects and Petrosea Management for the day to day running. Assist the Director meet budget targets and KPIs, develop new business.
Requirements:
• Min bachelor degree in any discipline from reputable local university / overseas.
• Min 10 (ten) years experiences in reputable Logistic services company, in which 3 (three) years experience in managerial positions.
• Strong leadership skill, Good Intitiatives & analytical thinking, Excellent communication skill
• Ensure the performance and expectations of all stakeholders is met or exceeded and to ensure that international standards are achieved in the daily operations
Responsibilities:
• Support all functions that are undertaken to ensure the Management Plan, Project Start Up Check List and Standard Operating Procedures are complied with.
• Reviews Client specifications, requirements and processes, to ensure the requirements defined are incorporated into the Daily Plan and that the responsibilities allocated from the Daily Plan are understood and implemented.
• Interface with the Clients on commercial HSE, programme and quality matters
• Prepare and implement budgets, shipping schedules, project deliverables, resource allocation and Facility allocation
• Communicate and interface with project management, senior management and supply base personnel and the Clients
• Establish and maintain relationship and communication with local community and local government in order to keep peace and harmonious relationship.
• To prepare and monitor detailed cost forecasts as requested
• To manage variations from and ensure Clients are advised of these changes and to also maximize returns for department
• Identify any environmental issues in area of area responsibility (regular audit schedule).
3. TYRE PERFORMANCE SUPERVISOR
(ASSET DEPT – Jakarta / Balikpapan Based)
To provide comprehensive analysis for the selection of optimal tyre types and brand to suit our Mine Site applications conditions. Work closely with the external service provider to analyse current tyre management performance, conduct tyre life cycle analysis and linked to truck application performance.
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or min 5 years of experience in tyre management
• Qualifications in Engineering or a closely related discipline is a preferred requirement for the position and a working knowledge in heavy equipment will be highly regarded.
• Min 2 years exposure to a similar role in an established company, formally recognised knowledge of a continuous improvement methodology is an expectation of the role, as will your skills in effective Tyre analysis together with ability to manage / advise on tyre selection allocation.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements
• Prepare and submit Tyre type/brand application matric based on working condition criteria.
• Conduct Tyre Performance Analysis, Tyre mismatch analysis and Tyre wear analysis (abnormal/accident wear) and linked to truck performance analysis.
• Compare performances (miles, km, hrs /mm or /32nd) for all products and applications.
• Analyse PTP tyres in that manner for mismatches.
• Compare and rank tyre performance among all PTP Truck for all site application criteria.
• Prepare report for Tyre life cycle analysis and develop data required for Tyre Cost analysis to support operational requirements
• Conduct comprehensive studies for tyre wear and give recommendation to minimize that happen in the future.
• Arrange periodic audits to accumulate information on current operational activity such as working environment on truck (grade resistance, rolling resistance, road construction material), payload, operational habit, etc.
• Work on continuous improvement in matters of tyre technology implementation and cost benefits
• Work closely with external service provider to get the correct specification for tyre type/brand and improving PTP current tyre management such as TKPH (Ton Kilometer Per Hour) monitoring and TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System)
• Active involvement on tyre budget & forecast preparation.
4. SENIOR COST CONTROL & PROJECT PLANNING
(EPM Dept – Jakarta Based)
Monitoring of the projects financial performance, both revenue and costs, against the Projects budget and/or forecast to support the achievement of the Projects financial objectives; prepare both periodic project reports and financial statement; identify and analyze revenue driver and costs driver to determine the impact on project revenue and project costs. Create and develop a schedule of work activities for a Project which clearly shows the work breakdown structure, critical path activities, progress earned to date and programme to completion.
Requirements:
• Min. Bachelor degree in Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Industrial).
• Min 5 years of experience as Project Control or planner/scheduler & quantity surveyor in construction project
• Knowledge of best practices in project control and scheduling, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
• Ability to design and calculate cost of a project
• Ability to establish policies and procedures.
• Familiar with project management and project resources ( Labour, Material and Plant )
• Ability to evaluate program effectiveness.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective monitoring and control mechanism.
• Knowledge of Primavera Project Planner (P6) and associated software and demonstrated competence in producing effectively formatted schedules and reports
Responsibilities:
• Responsible to set up Project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for controlling and reporting in accordance with Company standard. The WBS will be reviewed and approved by Project Control Manager and Project Manager.
• Identify and analyse anomalies, variances or non-compliances in the actual operating costs (i.e., materials, plant, labour, sub-contractors, etc.) and take the necessary corrective actions or inform management of proposed action to ensure compliance as soon as they become known
• Provide recommendations on operating cost reports based on comparative analysis of budget/forecast to actuals (i.e., unit costs, capital cost, overhead costs, etc.) and provide recommendations to ensure the project objectives are achieved
• Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast to support the achievement of the operation and objectives within the allocated budget
• Implement and maintain budgeting and costing processes and procedures to achieve department objectives and targets
• Review and provide recommendations about budgeting and forecasting processes and procedures for continuous improvement.
• Prepare and analyze the monthly project report (including quantities, man-hours, KPIs and quality of work) to evaluate the project performance.
• Prepare Monthly Progress Claims and to ensure the subsequent invoice is submitted and payment received within the payment terms of the Contract
• Prepare and analyze Monthly Site P&L before submit to management
• Prepare Client Monthly Report and ensure it submit to Client in timely manner
• Check that cost codes on requisitions are correctly allocated while checking that the remaining budget for the cost code is sufficient to cover the proposed purchase, ascertaining PO has been cover proposed costs are considered to be committed and refer to the budget
• Review and confirm that Subcontractor invoices are as per Contract terms & conditions for the further payment process
• Clarify regarding the payment status with the client and subcontractor.
• Develop procedure for design and construction project management scheduling, including coding, resources allocation and cost loading of design and construction schedules
• Plan and organize work program; establish and monitor controls to evaluate unit performance; take appropriate action to correct performance and to adjust programs to meet requirements
• Analyze and interpret schedules prepared by outside consultants and contractors, merger them into a single composite master schedule, which is summarized, as required, for various levels of use
• Establish and maintain effective means of coordinating unit plans and schedule with other organization units; report delays and problem promptly and take appropriate actions to maintain effective coordination of activities; ensure that unit activities do not conflict with organization goals
• Assist in the analysis of claim, utilizing schedule information and capabilities of the scheduling system to provide accurate picture of project activities events
• Develop plans to meet unexpected situation, new developments and changes in the business environment; prepare for emergencies; anticipate events; understand the factors and conditions effecting the organization and respond appropriate when these change
5. SENIOR CIVIL STRUCTURE
(EPM Dept – Jakarta Based)
Execute, monitor and control the construction activities of the project in order to ensure that it is completed on time and to the total satisfaction of the client whilst achieving tender profit margins and meeting the safety and quality expectations of the company.
Requirement:
• Min Bachelor degree in Civil engineering
• Min. 5 years previous working experience in Jetty constructions project
• Computer literate. including working knowledge of drawings systems
• Knowledge of building codes.
• Ability to understand and interpret construction drawings and documents.
• Ability to maintain accurate and details records
• Organizational, and supervisory skills
• Analytical, reasoning and problem solving skills
Responsibilities:
• Review inspection reports, drawing, and plans.
• Design complex structures and reviews the designs of other engineers to assure specified engineering requirements
• Inspects and evaluates location survey data to assure that conditions, existing structures and underground facilities on the site are fully disclosed and accounted for in drawings and resulting plans.
• Reviews calculations for projects, clearance, drainage requirements, span length, stresses and reinforcement demands
• Analyzes data, comparing against specified and computed values, and suggesting changes and improvements where needed.
• Provide assistance to budget personnel in preparing cost estimates.
• Investigates casualties or failure of structures. Documents findings and recommends solutions to problems and/ or procedures to prevent re-occurance.
• Follow and implement HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements.
• Acts as liaison with clients assuring satisfaction with progress and quality.
• Informs higher management of business opportunities and problems which may impact on the companys business
• Analyzes assigned tasks to determine estimates of man-hours and material needed for completion.
• Provides technical support and technical guidance to associate engineers and personnel.
• Recommend type and material for structures.
6. SENIOR CIVIL GEOTECHNICAL
(EPM Dept – Jakarta Based)
Requirements:
• Min. Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering
• Min. 5 years previous experience in Management of Civil Engineering Departments (especially in road construction, bridge, Geotechnical)
• Able to develop economical foundation solutions in complex geotechnical environments
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Demonstrated effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Able to review and giving guidance technically on Lead Engineer/Engineer deliverables
• Committed to delivering the best possible service to the internal or external client
Responsibilities:
• Direct and control the project road construction, bridge, Geotechnical team by providing technical guidance, leadership and support to the people performing design work to ensure that design accuracy, fitness for purpose and schedules achieved comply with Petrosea and client standards and procedures.
• Review and control of all project engineering work including project development, staff assignment and the application of engineering principles throughout the company to ensure all engineering activities are comply with current procedures and regulations
• Plan and develop design strategy for road construction, bridge, Geotechnical in the Engineering function in order to produce the best possible results for the client (either internal or external)
• Able to challenge existing design solutions for road construction, bridge, Geotechnical and develop superior alternatives
• Implementing design requirements of HSE programs (including Environmental Management System) to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements
• Establish and maintains effective work relationship within the group, the company and the community, and maintains the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for the satisfactory performace of all assigned responsibilities to achieve good working relation between office members and active training environment.
7. CIVIL SUPERVISOR
(EPM Dept - Site Based)
Monitor and coordinate civil daily activities to ensure civil work is performed in a technically correct and efficient manner, conform with companys standard and policies.
Requirements:
• Min. 5 years experiences in Civil area, especially in infrastructure maintenance & construction (building, camp & workshop)
• Good knowledge in heavy machine technology
• Understand and ability in using tools, special tools, and workshop facilities
• Preferably experience from non staff ( carpenter / mason )
Responsibilities:
• Plan and supervise Civil activities regarding tools requirement, sparepart, and consumable goods and also manpower planning in establishment, maintenance, and repairement of Site.
• Responsible in maintain and repair Civil system in Site/Project.
• Check and examine all mechanical location and equipment and economizing by using test equipment standard and observe its function.
• Conduct formal annual performance review all direct reports, identifying strengths and weaknesses, training needs and agreeing upon goals for the future
• Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring and performance counselling as required for all direct reports
• Prepare and submitt reporting required by Business Mining Petrosea (BMP) in a timely manner
• Communicate and Monitor safety procedures implementation in work environment and process in order to maintain safety awareness at all times and adhere to Petrosea guidelines and regulations in this respect
• Review and analyze of failure to plant, monitor degradation and report pending equipment failure for compilation into backlog
• Monitor and maintain Work Order (WO) to ensure Work Order information is processed in accordance with Business Mining Petrosea (BMP).
