G-Resources is an Asia-Pacific gold company, based and listed in Hong Kong, and is operating the Martabe Gold Mine in North Sumatera
. The open cut mine, with an average strip ratio of less than 1.4:1, and a conventional processing circuit incorporating jaw crushing, SAG and ball milling and CIL, processes in excess of 4.5mtpa to produce greater than 250,000 ounces of gold and 3 million ounces of silver annually. The Martabe Gold Mine is striving to maintain an excellent track record in responsible mining practices, and clear commitment to compliance to mining regulations as well as developing and managing mining activities with the involvement of local communities.
To strengthen the existing management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:
Superintendent Mine Geology (MG 0645)
This position will be based in Martabe Project and Mine Geology Department. Reports directly to the Manager Mine Geology.
This position role is responsible in providing advice and expertise in the geological aspects of development and production in a gold-silver mining environment. Also, in helping to assure the quality of the mineralised rocks extracted, as well as ensuring the safety in the ore extracting process.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
1. Tertiary qualified in Geology with minimal 10 years experienced.
2. Hard rock – Open Pit/Underground Mining experience – at least 3 years preferably in a gold environment.
3. Ability to work well with other disciplines in a team environment.
4. Good leadership especially in the field work.
5. Experience in mapping, drilling and sampling activities.
6. Good communication, technical reporting and writing skills in English.
7. Willing to work hard in the field job and interested in ongoing training programs.
8. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and Grade Control / Mining software packages; experiences in Surpac will be well regarded.
9. A current valid Indonesian drivers license for a car.
Senior Supervisor Mod Squad (FS 0642)
This position will be based in Martabe Project and Facility & Services Department. Reports directly to the Superintendent Technical Services.
Role of this position is responsible to perform supervisory role in the construction activities to ensure the contractors activities is in compliance with the site standard of Safety, Health and Environment and meet the site standard of construction.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
1. Minimum engineering degree or Technical High School with 10 years experience
2. Understand Australian and Indonesia building standard.
3. Minimum 5 - 8 years experience in scope of construction at Mine Infrastructure Industry.
4. Well knowledge with building construction scope of work.
5. Knowledge of integrated computer systems and AUTOCAD.
6. Excellent in Cost estimating
7. Able to read drawing and design.
8. Excellent personal skill
9. Excellent project management skill with the ability to manage and priorities multiple, concurrent projects.
Staff Development Coordinator (TD 0644)
This position will be based in Martabe project and Training & Development Department. Reports directly to Staff Development Superintendent
The role position is to :
• Support the Staff Development Superintendent in the day-to-day management of the Training & Development Department.
• Establish on-going Training Needs site wide and develop quality training tools to ensure successful training and development outcomes are realized through a variety of training initiatives.
• Plan, design and deliver high quality training programmers to meet client needs
• Develop two inexperienced but enthusiastic local training supervisors into training and development professionals
Candidates for this role would be expected to have as a minimum the following qualifications and experience:
• A Bachelor Degree in Education, HRD, Business Administration or Psychology.
• Certified trainer or facilitator.
• A sound awareness of competency based training systems.
• A thorough knowledge of adult education principles.
• Five to Ten years experience working within Learning & Development environment, preferably within a large organization.
• Knowledge and experience in facilitating training & learning evaluation systems.
• Outstanding oral, written, multi-tasking and presentation skills
• Rounded English ability to a minimum of C1 (CEF – Common European Framework) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) 7.5 with a minimum of 7 for each skill
Non essential but desirable qualifications include:
• MA in HRD, Learning & Development or related field
• A working knowledge of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) theory
Trainer – Learning and Development (TD 0646)
This position will be based at Martabe site and Training & Development Department. Reports directly to the Staff Development Superintendent.
Role this position is required to deliver employee development training programmes to PTAR employees, with an emphasis on, but not confined to local staff. The role critical in raising the levels of ability and awareness among employees through a wide variety of job-specific and more holistic training programmes, designed to equip employees with more skills, knowledge and behaviours which will enhance their roles at PTAR. Typical programmes would include: time management, cross-cultural awareness, communications skills and certain basic Microsoft packages such as Word and Outlook.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in education HRD, business administration or psychology.
2. Have certified trainer or facilitator.
3. A sound awareness of competency based training systems.
4. A thorough knowledge of the principles of adult education.
5. Three or five years experience working with a learning & development environment, preferably within a large organisation.
6. Outstanding verbal, written, multi tasking and presentation skills.
7. Rounded English ability to a minimum of C1 (CEF) or IELTS 7.
