Caterpillar Asia Pte. Ltd. is a marketing headquarters which serves 15 countries in South East Asia stretching from India to South Korea and Mongolia. The organization was established in 1965 in Hong Kong under the name
of Caterpillar Far East Limited. In 1991, we moved to Singapore from Hong Kong and changed our name to Caterpillar Asia Pte. Ltd. Caterpillar Asia has improved and strengthened marketing responsibilities with 15 dealerships and more than 160 dealer branches throughout the region. To closely serve our customers in Asia, we have four district offices in Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and Manila.

Operator Trainer/ Instructor - 1400035T

Requirements:
* Minimum 10 years industry experience with minimum 5 years work experience as an operator and/or trainer in various earthmoving and mobile mining equipment.
* Demonstrated work site safety knowledge and behaviour.
* Demonstrated the ability to work on cross-cultural team, such as overseas job, and the ability to work indepedently
* Satisfactory English written and communications skills.
* Good interpersonal and collaboration skills
* Willing to travel at various customer sites and dealers across Asia Pacific region.

Job Description
As an Operator Trainer/Instructor, you will work closely with Asia Pacific dealers to build their operator training capability and training development program.

Job Duties may include, but are not limited to:
* Develop action plan to support dealer operator training capabilities.
* Collaborate with internal partners on operator training support, i.e. new product introduction, operator evaluation
* Deliver training, testing and certification activities for dealer
operators in accordance to Caterpillar competency standards and
certification process.
* Operate equipment to demonstrate features and capabilities, communicate operating techniques, display effective application and safety practices.
* Provides hands-on training related to machine operation, application, job efficiency, and safety
* With experience, incumbents are expected to master demonstration techniques and fine points of the product, thereby becoming an integral part of the selling team.
