Salamander Energy is an Asia-focused independent exploration and
production company with a number of licenses spread throughout Indonesia
and Thailand.


Since its formation in 2005, the company consistently grew production
year on year until 2011 when it disposed of its interest in the ONWJ and
SES PSC's to invest in growing production with more cash generative barrels.

Salamander expects average daily production in 2013 will be 14,000 -
15,000 boepd. In 2014 average daily production is expected to be
13,000-16,000 boepd. Salamander operates over 80% of its production.

Salamander has developed strong operating credentials across all areas
of the E&P life cycle. The Bualuang oil field (Gulf of Thailand)
development was completed and the field successfully brought on-stream
in August 2008 providing the company with its first operated production.
The Kerendan gas condensate field (Central Kalimantan, Indonesia) is due
to start production in 2H 2014. The Company is also pursuing a number
of exploration opportunities in the Gulf of Thailand, Central Kalimantan
and offshore East Kalimantan.

A fast-growing company, Salamander has approximately 300 employees,
including a senior technical and management team with deep experience of
the region, and has offices in London, Singapore, Jakarta and Bangkok.

Field Community Development Officer

Job Description

The basic purpose is to manage company community development program
based on the preminiary assessment of the local community needs. The
responsibilities are including community partnerships, internal employee
engagement, stakeholder engagement program, CSR vision and values,
business case policy, demonstrate the business value of CSR, and
improve the awareness of CSR across the organization.

* Develops appropriate targets and ways of assessing progress to drive
and evaluate the company’s performance on CSR.
* Able to analyze and make recommendation on the effectiveness of the
program from the impact to the community and internal business
objectives.
* Develops and maintain strong and mutually beneficial relationships
with its community.
* Plans and promotes good company image in order to build and maintain
a harmonious environment and effective working relationship.
* Generates community support, loyalty and good will; referred to as
building company “social license to operate”, an important company
business objective.
* Determines how the company will internally and externally express
progress toward accomplishing its CSR goals and respond to society’s
increasing demand for greater transparency.
* Builds and maintains good relationships with departments internally
as well as externally with counterparts in other PSCs, SKK Migas,
Migas and other government bodies both at central departmental and
regional levels.
* Maintains accurate files records and documentation activities and
all related expenses to ensure all transactions are within the
approved budget.
* Keeps abreast of applicable laws and regulations that apply to the
function and maintains up-to-date compliance.
* Prepares various required reports.
* Uses various software applications, such as spreadsheets, databases,
statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate
and/or format data and/or reports.
* Develops and maintains system of CSR program desgin and initiatives.
* Performs all other duties as may be required by the business needs.


Requirements:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree (S1), Business
Administration / Management / Public Relations or other related
disciplines.
* At least 8 year(s) of working experience in CSR and Community
Development in Oil & Gas sector.
* Sophisticated understanding of international CSR landscape and best
practices.
