Indonesia gas trading company requires Senior Legal Counsel who will be responsible for giving legal support to projects under development as well as legal support to projects under establishment or in operation in East Java,
Madura and Riau Area. The Senior Counsel will be based in Jakarta and report to the President Director.

Key Requirements:
Law Degree from a reputable university; excellent command of English (written and spoken); a minimum of 5 years legal practice experience; experience in the Energy Industry; proficiency in MS office; knowledge and understanding of Gas Sales Contracts, financing documents and other project documents, any licenses, procedures, policies related to oil and gas sector.

Additional Requirements:
1. Negotiating skills, strong intellectual capacity, able to deal with complexity, strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
2. Ability to influence and persuade others, personal stature to represent the Group in contacts with counterparts and organizational skills to achieve objectives on time.
3. Ability to provide commercially sound legal advice to trading companies, including in relation to disputes among affiliates involved in agreement arrangements.
4. Taking the lead on preparation of documentation for partnerships with third parties on specific development project, leading the negotiation of all partnership agreements, project agreements, providing general advice on contract management and all legal matters as they arise (including regulatory and local law issues in coordination with local counsel).
5. Providing dispute resolution or dispute settlement advice.
6. Assisting in monitoring and reporting on compliance with policies and/or procedures and/or licenses.
