Document Controller
Subang

To provide monitor and control the movement, filing and archiving of all technical documents with the objective of ensuring compliance to Leighton’s project procedures.

Requirements:
• Diploma in business administration
• 1 - 2 years experience
• Relevant document control experience in construction/mining industry accounting is preferred.
• Have an exposure in document control procedures.
• Experience working at mining/civil contractor is preferred

Responsibilities :
• To coordinate the receipt, distribution and tracking of the changes to all of the function’s documents in order to facilitate the smooth running of projects in compliance with project procedures.
• To prepare various reports in order to ensure the accurate presentation of daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• To maintain, and archive the documents and to ensure documentation required for specific project is completed and meet the requirements.
• To maintain web based company management & documentation system to ensure effective document control including quality newsletter
• To coordinate with Project QA Rep to ensure Project Documentation as stated in PMP are available and implemented.
• To conduct session together with process owner to define process and procedure.
• To enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures in order to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters in order to comply with statutory requirements and HSE expectation.

Bar Bending Schedule

To coordinate civil work activities (structural, mechanical, electrical, water system) of the project area to which he has been assigned according to agreed plan, while maintaining a health & safe working environment with the prime objective of ensuring that daily, weekly and monthly production targets are achieved .

Requirements:
• Diploma in civil engineering or related disciplines
• Deep knowledge upon practical application of civil (earthwork) construction & safety legal requirements
• 4- 7 years experience in civil/construction
• Have extensive experience in civil infrastructure works with a capability in monitoring direct staff and subcontractors
• Experience in managing operational and technical role in the construction industry.
• Experience working at civil contractor is preferred.

Responsibilities :

To produce engineering and related drawings with the objective of supporting project deliverables in a timely manner and in accordance with the Project Management Plan.

Requirements:
• Diploma in civil engineering or related disciplines
• Deep knowledge upon practical application of civil (earthwork) construction & safety legal requirements
• 4- 7 years experience in civil/construction
• Have extensive experience in civil infrastructure works with a capability in monitoring direct staff and subcontractors

Civil Superintendent

To support the manager in coordinating the civil design and engineering activities of the project area to which he has been assigned according to agreed plan, while maintaining a health & safe working environment with the prime objective of supporting the new contract engagement and ensuring that the civil projects are built as per design and specification, project timelines and budgets .

Requirements:
• Diploma in civil engineering or related disciplines
• Deep knowledge upon practical application of civil (earthwork) construction & safety legal requirements
• 4- 7 years experience in civil/construction
• Have extensive experience in civil infrastructure works with a capability in monitoring direct staff and subcontractors
• Experience in managing operational and technical role in the construction industry.

Responsibilities :
• To review all detailed planning of works to be carried out to support a submission to a client on a tender in order to ensure works are carried out in a timely manner and in line with client requirements.
• To review the project program after award of contract and provide support to the Project team in order to ensure accurate program and reporting of works.
• To review KPI and tracking information required for periodic (weekly, biweekly and monthly

reports in order to monitor and report any variances from planned productivities and targets to ensure ongoing compliance with Project Programs.
• To monitor the development of accurate as-built plans and the undertake relevant analysis in order to substantiate extension of time claims if deemed necessary
• To coordinate and develop the assigned subordinates in order to optimize workable time in construction.

To support the manager to manage the control and administration of contractual variation and commercial, invoice requirements in addition to providing input, support and advice to project departments with the objective of minimizing cost, maximizing financial recovery and limiting the contractual and commercial exposure to risk and disputes.

Requirements:
• High School/ vocational school in Administration
• Diploma in Administration or related is preferable
• 0 -2 years experience
• Administrative experience in a civil/mining contractor company is preferred

Responsibilities :
• To coordinate and monitor implementation of company procedures relating to commercial matters in order to ensure project compliance with policies and procedures.

Design Manager(Expat)

To manage the safe and effective constructible design works with the prime objective of ensuring construction activities are built as per design and specification, in line with company’s heath and safety procedures and with the objective of meeting project timelines and budgets.


Responsibilities :
• Manage the full design process for all disciplines on the projects and ensure that the designs are coordinated and to the best standards
• Appointing and briefing of design consultants through a bespoke scope of services to deliver the correct level of information for any particular project
• Work closely with design consultants on the projects and ensure that designs produced are efficient and in budget
• Manage head office design documentation to ensure projects information is easy to access and retrieve
• Assist project staff in the RFI process and act as the coordinator for RFI’s
• Produce project design programs and monitor these on a regular basis
• Ensure design is produced in sufficient time for the project team to be able to progress with the works on site
• Attend client meetings and report on design progress
• Liaise with internal Leighton design resource to produce project design/ details where required
• Implement and assist with value engineering of project design
• Assist site team with any submissions to client and local authorities
• Assist in managing the design development process as part of the Pre-construction Team ensuring value engineering and buildability are considered at all stages
• Assist in reviewing and co-ordinating the provision of information to the Bid Manager to support tenders, and the provision of well-considered contractors proposals to eliminate risk
• Develop strong working relationships internally and externally with project teams, clients and consultants
• Liaise with Pre-construction & Production Teams to resolve design queries promptly and comprehensively
• Assist with providing ’as built’ records and other documentary evidence on completion of the works


Requirements:
• Degree in civil / structural engineering / architecture, or related disciplines
• Deep knowledge upon architectural design of civil (earthwork) and building construction & safety legal requirements
• 10 – 12 years experience in civil/construction
• Have extensive experience in performing design drawing, planning and engineering role on construction, civil infrastructure works, civil marine construction (Jetty, Dredging, and Platform) and projects.
• In depth understanding of construction methodology covering building and civil infrastructure.
• Have a minimum of 5 years exposure in civil project management.
• Experience working at civil contractor is preferred.
