The key challenges in this position include:
° As the intermediary between PTFI and the GOI, the jobholder has to be able to address both agenda in accordance with Company policies and work ethics. To achieve this, the jobholder needs to have good interpersonal skills supported by broad knowledge of various company operations and activities.
° Requirement of strategic thinking process in accordance to the changing and dynamic external forces and to develop strategic lobbying effort to relevant external entities. The jobholder must be proactive, persistent and consistent in building and maintaining relationship, both external and internal.
° Ability to analyze the current political issue and respond to and anticipate various conditions related with government and legislative insFinancial
° Operating budget: TBD.

° Number of direct subordinates: 2 Staff positions.
° Number of client: Approximately 5 major of department (e.g., National Land Agency, Home Affairs, Dept of Law & Human Rights, Dept of Socials, Foreign Dept).

Basic Function :
° Plan, coordinate, lobby and control relationship and communication with GOI departments in relation with non mining aspects to improve knowledge and understanding of central GOI officials toward Company programs and interests in line with good governance practices to support PTFI's operations.
° Coordinate the facilitation of GOI visit on company business to ensure all GOI and related parties visitation are well arranged and proper handled.

Job Responsibility :
1. Lobby, build and maintain good communication and relationship with non mining related-departments (e.g., National Land Agency, Home Affairs, Dept of Law & Human Rights, Dept of Socials, Foreign Dept, etc. ), to disseminate and convince company program and interests; and to handle all technical issues in line with company plan and policy and GOI regulations.
2. Review and analyze draft quarterly plan for its section in accordance to Govrel Annual Plan and Strategy, to ensure accurate quarterly plan produce in a timely manner and accurately.
3. Monitor, review an facilitate GOI visit to and/or from Jobsite, to ensure all GOI and related parties visitation are well arranged and proper handled in coordination with respective departments and in accordance with company policy and GOI regulations.
4. Direct, monitor and control the appointment/courtesy calls, lobby, negotiate and maintain good relationship with various government agencies/officials, to ensure an easy access to get the required permits, draft decrees or other licenses.
5. Direct, monitor, review and control all administration activities (e.g., filing system, gifts report, website update etc. in Govrels Departments to ensure the system run properly and accurately in accordance to Govrel Annual Plan and Strategy and in coordination with other 3 offices location (Jkt, KK, Jpra) and respective departments.
6. Liaise with Land Affairs and Forestry Office (and Mining) to coordinate the related issues (boundary staking, release borrow-to-use), to maximize info and up-date GOI related offices on the progress of PTFI working on related issues and info the management GOI office concern on the issues.
7. Implement the tasks and projects in accordance to the approved quarterly plan, to ensure the activities are met its target.
8. Coordinate and review all content the regular letters and reports before submitting to other external parties and to ensure the content is in accordance with company policy and strategy.
9. Coordinate the facilitation on the visitation of Mining Inspector on the regular monitoring of Working Plan implementation and emergency case in coordination with other section and respective departments.
10. Review and provide relevant weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to supervisor and management in timely manner.
11. Coordinate and control activities in maintaining database for executive agencies institutions.
12. Coordinate and perform critical and urgent ad-hoc tasks as requested by management, in order to ensure the job is done in a timely manner and accurately.
