Substation Equipment O&M Specialist
Minimum Requirements
As the successful candidate you will have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a minimum of 10 years solid experience in substation equipment design and application. A Master's degree in engineering is also prefereed. You will have hands-on field experience in maintenance and operation, having worked for at least five years as a substation equipment professional. You will have solid experience and knowledge in substation equipment design, manufacturing, testing, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair, as well as having wide knowledge in O&M new technologies. In-depth knowledge of international specifications, codes, and standards, with knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods and design details is required.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide engineering expertise in support of field Operations and Maintenance (O&M) for all types of substation equipment serving mega-industrial facilities including; refineries, gas and oil processing plants, and power plants.
Develop maintenance instructions and best practices for substation equipment testing and maintenance.
Review and update equipment standards and specification.
Conduct equipment reliability studies.
Lead equipment incident investigation teams.

Energy Efficiency Analyst
Minimum Requirements
As the successful candidate you will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related engineering degree. You will have a minimum of five years of practical experience with developing energy conservation measures and working as an energy efficiency engineer in major operating facilities with experience of applying energy efficiency design solutions for new facilities. An additional qualification in the form of certification is strongly desired, such as Certified Energy Manager, LEED Accreditation and/or Certified Energy Auditor. Relevant experience in the energy industry, preferably in the fuels and power generation and utility industry along with knowledge of renewables is desirable.
Duties and Responsibilities
Analysis of energy efficiency with a combination of analytical and investigative skills covering a range of systems and utilizing the latest simulation software and applying the latest industry efficiency standards.
Ability to readily recognize inefficient systems and be familiar with the newest technologies for retrofits.
Conduct detailed investigation of facility operations and identification of methods, technologies and process modifications that are implementable to reduce energy cost.
Review new facilities' design to apply the latest energy conservation technologies and achieve energy efficient facilities.
Develop energy conservation measures for facilities' performance.
Produce detailed calculations for energy conservation projects (ECPs), including operational and maintenance savings as well as the cost for implementation of the proposed ECP and apply energy efficiency standards for new facility design and retrofit projects.
