G-Resources, a Hong Kong listed gold mining and exploration company has acquired the world-class Martabe gold-silver project in Northern Sumatra, Indonesia. With a resource base of 6.5Moz gold and 66Moz silver, Martabe is scheduled to commence production in early 2012 at a rate of 250,000 oz gold and 3M oz silver annually.
The processing plant is currently under construction and is designed to treat 4.5 Mtpa incorporating jaw crushing, SAG and ball milling and CIP.

1. Material Handling Leading Hand/ Trainer (PRO 0205)
This position will be based in Martabe Project and reports directly to the Material Handling Supervisor. Role of this position is responsible to provide hands-on support for the Material Handling Supervisor, so as to ensure that all lifting and transport activities carried out by the Material Handling team are performed in a professional, safe, diligent, timely, cost efficient and cost effective manner, whilst taking into consideration the priority requirements of the Process Plant and associated infrastructures mechanical plant, equipment & apparatus being attended to.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
1. Possess approved Crane Operating & Rigging qualifications.
2. Possess a valid recognised HE Drivers licence.
3. Experience in similar positions within the mining, oil & gas or similar heavy industrial environment.
4. Thorough knowledge with developing and approving lift plans to suit specific mobile cranes up to 160t capacity.
5. Interpretation of mobile crane operating & maintenance manuals.
6. Thorough knowledge of occupational hazards within the mineral processing industry.
7. Thorough knowledge of safe lifting techniques.
8. Ability to perform routine inspections & maintenance on lifting apparatus. Eg. Chains, sling, shackles, spreaders, hooks, blocks, clamps, tie-downs, lever hoists, chain-blocks.,

2. Material Handling Supervisor / Trainer (PRO-0204)
This position will be based at Martabe site and reports directly to Mechanical Coordinator. This position would be responsible to provide “hands-on” support for the Mechanical Coordinator, so as to ensure that all lifting and transport activities carried out by the Material Handling team are performed in a professional, safe, diligent, timely, cost efficient and cost effective manner, whilst taking into consideration the priority requirements of the Process Plant and associated infrastructure mechanical plant, equipment & apparatus being attended to.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
1. Possess approved Crane Operating & Rigging qualifications

Role of this position is to provide hands-on support for the Mechanical Coordinator, so as to ensure that the maintenance, modifications, servicing and installation activities carried out by the Mechanical maintenance team are performed in a professional, safe, diligent, timely, cost efficient and cost effective manner, whilst taking into consideration the priority requirements of the Process Plant and associated infrastructures mechanical plant, equipment & apparatus being attended to.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
1. Graduated from Polytechnic / Technical training institute or approved Apprenticeship with Mechanical (Fitter / Welder / Boilermaker) qualifications.
2. Minimum 10 years relevant mineral processing plant experience with Crushing, Grinding equipment. It is envisaged that the person will have a minimum of 5 years at a supervisory level within the mining sector.
3. Must have an excellent understanding of the English language and be able to communicate both written and spoken.
4. Must be able to compile reports and understand budgeting processes.
5. Ability to plan and supervise the work of others based on PM schedules, shutdown and breakdown requirements on a shift, daily and weekly basis.
6. Possess a valid recognised Drivers licence

This position will be based at Martabe site and reports directly to Mechanical Supervisor. This position would be responsible to provide hands-on support for the Mechanical Supervisors, so as to ensure that the maintenance, modifications, servicing and installation activities carried out by the Mechanical maintenance team are performed in a professional, safe, diligent, timely, cost efficient and cost effective manner, whilst taking into consideration the priority requirements of the Process Plants and associated infrastructures Mechanical plant, equipment & apparatus being attended to.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
1. Graduated from Polytechnic / Technical training institute or approved Apprenticeship with Mechanical (Welding/ Boilermaker) qualifications.
