Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer
Qatar

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

* Designing and implementation of geotechnical investigation programs
* Supervision of geotechnical field investigations
* Analysis and reporting of geotechnical investigation results (field and laboratory)
* Managing and supervising junior field staff on geotechnical/hydrogeological investigations
* Data management and interpretation of data from geotechnical investigation programs
* Project management and liaison with clients

Previous Experience and Competencies

* 5 to 8 years of Field work experience and Laboratory Investigations
* BSc minimum with MSc degree preferred in hydraulic engineering, surface hydrology or related subjects
* Knowledge of hydrogeology
* Knowledge of standards and specifications related to geotechnical investigations
* Experience in data gathering leading to the implementation of water balance models
* Experience in designing rainfall and stream protection systems
* Experience in designing dams, ponds, piping and pumping systems, as well as sewage system for rainfall
* Effective written and oral communications skills
