This Leading International Gold Mining Company is seeking a Senior Metallurgist with a strong background in flotation, preferably copper/gold flotation to join their operation in Central Kalimantan which is part of the organization’s global operations, having the largest Gold Mine portfolio in Indonesia!

Primary Mission: The Process Plant presently processes 1 million tones per annum, and consists of milling, gravity, flotation, CIL, paste backfill and paste tailings deposition. Numerous projects and continuous improvement initiatives are in progress within the Process Plant including a flotation cleaner circuit upgrade. The incumbent will have the opportunity to help shape and guide these initiatives and have a significant influence on realizing process improvements.

SENIOR METALLURGIST – COPPER / GOLD FLOTATION DIVISION:

OPERATING GOLD MINE

LOCATION: Central Kalimantan

Core Accountabilities:
* Work with a strong team of metallurgists
* Support the operation
* Ability to train and mentor Metallurgists

Conditions:
* This position is rotational which consists of three weeks on site and two weeks off; fly in – fly out schedule
* Short listed candidates may be subjected to any of the following: a security clearance; a competency assessment; physical capability assessment, reference checking

Minimum Required Profile:
* Minimum 5 years experience
* Strong background in flotation; preferably copper/gold flotation
* Sound experience in crushing, grinding, gold recovery by gravity separation, CIL and dewatering
* Important skill for this position is the ability to train and mentor Metallurgists
* Strong managerial skills and previous leadership experience will be regarded as an asset!
* Previous related experience will be regarded favorably
