Technical Document Controller

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas), Commerce or equivalent.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience.
Applicants should be Malaysian, Singaporean, Indonesian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
Preferably Managers specializing in Quality Control/Assurance or equivalent.
Full-Time positions available.
Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, AutoCAD and SharePoint
Responsibilities:
The role of the Technical Document Controller is to manage the issue, archiving, receipt and acceptance of internal technical documents, drawings, vendor manuals, support information (viz ITT, MDR and closure reports/actions, Certification Authority and Classification Society letters, comments and approved drawings) as Company documentation requirements.
Populate Information Systems
Maintenance of all inspection and expedition records.
Maintain log of outstanding actions from inspection and expedition records.
Circulate and manage vendor document approval process.
Develop database of vendor documents.
Assist in management of contract records.
Manage, issue and distribution of documents to project and operations teams.
Develop library system to issue controlled documents to internal and external customers.
Review final manuals for deliverable content against each contract.
Check off deliverables list of all supplied documents.
Ensure all requirements are met with respect to incoming and outgoing vendor documentation.
Responsible for all Subcontract documentation being expedited to meet various Fabrication Schedules.
Ensure that all documentation submitted and processed complied with both Company Quality
Assurance and International Standards.
Distribution of Principle and Vendor Documentation, maintenance of the database, technical
library and archiving of historical documents.
Issue of all design drawings, standard and project documentation, organization charts and project schedules.
Develop electronic filing and archive system which allows the project team to operate from anybase.
Compile Manufacturer’s Data Reports
Responsibilities to include;
The issue of all project and drawing numbers from a central database
The closure of projects by updating files and drawing database
Control of incoming and outgoing internal documentation
Transmitting and receiving vendor documentation / drawings
Compiling presentation files and creating various graphs of safety statistics for the monthly Contractor Safety meetings.
